Wouldn’t it stand to reason that across almost all sectors except medical, fewer workers will be needed as the population is cut in half? Who would be driving the demand for oil if half of us are dead or have CJD disease and can’t drive anyway? Just a thought.

I guess that is hard for the oil industry alone to calculate.

They seem to doing this assuming that demand will remain, as all companies do.

Her TikTok channel name appeared at the end of the video. Played around a bit, squinted and was able to make out the words (sort of).

Took a guess and I was right!

Her channel is called Mindful Divergence. She's also on YouTube. From there got her name and location, found her on LI, etc.

Her LI profile matches what she says in her TT video.

However, after looking at the titles of her YT videos (haven't had the time to watch them yet), I'm not sure she is a credible source.

yes and no. problem is not # of workers per say but education and experience.

take the grid,any of it really. these ppl have too many hours of on the job experience. u can not replace them with young workers in a few weeks. computers can not do it wrll either. u already seen that with the pipline issues. if u lose 25% of the specialists in keeping the grid operational,the grid is done. less workers here becomes critical to everyone.

not everyone works. most are govern paid, non-employed or govern workers, many who push papers. in the US , rough estimate is less than 25% do something of value to produce goods. u still need truck drivers to move them. and u see shortages now.

we can't dictate what ppl get sick. the odds are the workers and truckers who move around the most due to working, will b more likely to b the sick 1's.
