I agree - a very interesting thing I heard and looked into last night was that a sizable amount of put options were taken on HGY which is an index for corporate junk bonds or something I looked at the options chain and it seems true there are a million puts spread from 86 to 82 or so, expiring next friday, and last time HGY tanked was last march during the stock market tanking.

tl/dr somebody put out a very expensive bet that the market is going to get beat up bad next week.
