Re: Odd star movement at night
Any one else notice the light (semi red) stars which are t part of major constellations seem to start moving all directionsat night? They seem to have bases that they fly to then speed away. I have also noticed a misty cloud. Over rolls in when they start becoming active. The bases also seem to shot a bright flash (like a strobe light) every so often......anyone?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80467183

Only just recently...never before in my lifetime have I seen what appeared to be stars moving.

And I dont really buy into the alien ufo thing either so I'm not sure wtf is going in with all of this.

I do believe in man made ufo's tho if that makes sense.

I have watched them for many years now. Maybe 30

Some starts are not fucking stars. They move and probably are UFO's

Yesterday, around 11pm, I saw one of these flashes. I saw it very well. It was between Polaris and the Big Dipper.
 Quoting: Leyline Walker

Mmmhmm... the dipper was clearly visible in the sky for me too when this happened.

I have followed the star that “camera flashes” and I have seen it do it again at non specific intervals. Then the other stars come to it and zip away like shooting stars. I think the “fog” is their to cover their movement.

It’s. It hard to see if you actually take the time to do it. Just go somewhere you can see stars and watch them.

Re: Odd star movement at night
Are these times based on EST or CST???

One person stated at 11pm between Polaris and the big dipper. Others stated between 1am - 4am...

Can people be a little more specific regarding area of the sky, constellations, approximate angle of elevation and direction...

I too saw a flash in the vicinity of the Big Dipper. It was North of my location at an angle around 70 degrees. The time was right around 11pm CST...

I thought it was just a meteor...

Yeah, so I usually am looking towards the eastern sky somewhere around 2.30 or 3 am to see the “flashing” one. You can see all the semi red stars pretty much everywhere. Looking straight up slows your periferal vision to pick up movement and you can track them. Lay down on the grass and look up.

Another thing I have noticed is that it seems their are more “triangle” patterns in the sky then I remember. It looks like they are in a formation. I thought once that they may be connected and the lights on the bottom of a massive ship or something. Not saying that is true , but it did cross my mind.

One more thing the flashing one is due north (on about the same highth) as Jupiter at the time. Jupiter is crazy bright. You can t miss it.

star ship Jupiter you mean... stars do not flash.. if it flashes colors its a craft from Heaven unless its obviously an airplane.

If my sky is clear at bedtime I will look.. I am so used to this stuff I don't pay attention much. It could be that with all the UFO announcements that went sour.. they are putting on a show up them.

Could be. It seemed to happen almost immediately after exiting the house, and my initial impression was that they were much closer to the ground than even normal aircraft. Are they assigning us all our own drones now?

Thanks for the added layer of paranoia.

I can vouch about a year ago, many nights I've looked up at star late especially past two years with three nights off, very late and notice some things posing as stars and if you keep staring you see they are not stars. They seem to pose, to the casual observer that doesn't look really at the stars, as stars though. I saw some move slowly to other areas. Etc. Yes something is posing as stars. The thought crossed my mind this was starlink too.

I've been seeing them too more frequently. Usually after midnight. I think they are drones. They are quiet and move at steady speed with blinking red lights. But when I first notice them they look like a big bright t shaped or multiple yellow lines. Then they speed out of view so I drive closer and they disappear just to show up right around the corner and fly right over me quiet and slow pace. Also had headlight through fog. Creeps me out. Alot of helicopter activity too.

So they can change shape, go invisible, and monitor. Some creepy high tech.

Been seeing these for over a decade now. They spacecraft and if you watch long enough, there's a bright flash and they zig-zag and then glow a redish color and then disappear. What you are seeing is the crafts entering the earth's atmosphere. On one occasion I saw what looked like they were being fired upon, with super bright flashes.
