I've been reading DD for 5 months now, I know the math indicates MOASS incoming at some point if everyone just holds.

There are a few strange things to think about too though:

- I've never seen anyone be able to verify any of these numbers are reality. I cannot find source data that can be corroborated and verified by myself. In that regard, it is no different than what CNBC and the rest of the propaganda media report. That said, the logic is often very good in these DD (and it's often crap too, to be fair).

- Historically, when there is messaging being pushed that "this is the people's movement" and "this will finally take down the man", it is anything but, and the people are just pawns in a bigger game (see BLM, Occupy, all socialist movements, qanon, etc.)

- It is strange when you start looking at both the GME and AMC communities. They are pushing the exact same messaging and pretending that the others are pretenders and ours is the "real MOASS". In some ways, that is natural for humans, but it can also be indicative of manipulation.

- There are a number of other inconsistencies, but I don't have time right now.

The flip side of this is look at the media, both what they are reporting and what they are hiding. As always, with big stuff, I generally find the opposite of what the media is pushing to be a safer bet.

One example, for the last week and a half they have been completely ignoring GME, yet pushing the AMC narrative hard. There is a theory that makes some sense going around: they were pushing attention to AMC because there is much less to squeeze there, so they can get people excited and thinking that is the big one and not pay attention to GME, then drop the price and say "squeeze over for all the meme stocks" again.

It seems clear by both the numbers that these people talk about, and the shady way the media ignores GME, that GME has much larger potential...but then why do so many "apes" ignore this fact?

Like I said, I do believe there is something there, but I am always suspicious of power and especially of movements that are large and almost mainstream that say "we're sticking it to the man".

depends on who you consider the man. we are teaching lessons to basically rich kids who go their jobs and have cheated their whole life. this isn't going to take the system down. it will do so itself. we are getting the people doing it right now in jail possibly. we are making them think about shorting. many hedges will not exist after this. the SEC is putting out the info as well. honestly for a couple hundred bucks a few months ago to make over 20k so far and that looks to be just the beginning isnt bad.

Real apes follow both. many are not in the reddit communities. on Matt Kohrs channel he monitors both. AMC has done like 300 plus percent in 3 weeks or close to that, of course it is gaining traction. it has fought of fake news for a long time. things are coming to light. when I stop posting on GLP that means i have cashed out and bought my land.

Again, I do believe MOASS is likely, but we need to understand the whole playing field here.

There are three main types of scam that could be going on here:

1. Hedge funds funding troll armies and bought reddit and twitter and youtube accounts to push these narratives of MOASS, which drive the price up, they cash out, drop the price and they buy back. The longer they can keep this going, the more money they make on all of these drops (especially when people have stop loss orders in place, they get them triggered automatically by dropping the price, which then causes an even bigger drop)

2. The companies in question, or major stockholders in these companies, could be coordinating all of this in the same way as #1, but for their own gains, or as a marketing strategy to build the brands back up.

3. This could be a globalist maneuver to start more "people's movements". In the same way as BLM, Antifa, Qanon, etc. It helps to destabilize the West so that it is easier to create the crisis that moves us all to communism.

Can't rule any of this out, honestly. I'm in six figures in this, so it's not like I don't believe in the possibility, but also need to be aware of what the reality might be.

I'm playing pretty much the same game as you. I started the year around $10k, and for a bit I was up to almost $500k, but I got bit hard by believing in something for too long when I should have gotten out, so I am back down around $100k.

I need close to a million to retire with my land, as I'm a little younger than you I think (though probably not too much). Trust me, it does not feel good to be so close to your goal and then lose most of it.

Be careful is all I'm saying, and understand the other possible angles, because they are possible and you can get screwed when you get too confident.

If it will hurt you losing it, you should get out and should not have put it in.

If it is money that is outside of your budget and will be ok if you lose 50-60% of it, leave it in. The potential upside is huge, and if the money is not needed then the downside is small.

And even more importantly, if this is at all some part of the communist takeover, it doesn't matter how much you win or how far in the sticks you are, they will come for it.

Above all, communism must lose. That is more important than any personal monetary winnings, so remember to not get too caught up in any personal monetary distractions if it could lead to a collapse that leads to communism.

I kinda agree with Lou on this.. this is a managed event. The gov is going to not only allow it they are kindly guiding it to a certain conclusion. If this gets to 1000s.. well they could, on the same day, crash the markets.. and blame us. Everyone says we are primed for a market correction or crash even. I think theyve found their trigger/blame. We'll get our money.. but ultimatly it wont matter because theyll crash it all. Then roll out the fed coin.

I honestly am pretty much dethatched to the market and the money I have in it. I know not to go to far I understand how quick it could happen. I am retired. This is to make a dream happen. My biggest fear would be selling most to early. However I should be able to put most of this money in my other much more stable positions. keep 10 percent for play on stuff like this.

Anyone with a real brokerage account, which means just about any broker that isnt RobinHood or one of these other hipster brands can trade any stock listed on the NYSE between 7 am and 8pm.

Tdameritrade, Schwab, etc. All allow extended hours trading except on foreign or pink sheet stocks.

yes but not many sit from 7am to 8pm trading. you know the ones we have mostly use this time to trade back and forth to ladder attack the price. bots do it all. unless there is enough volume to beat it on a heavily shorted stock it will do this.

many retail traders are not in the brokerages you list. webull is a decent platform. people learn and upgrade as needed. also you can find so much info free, its more about time than anything. and trading you have tons of time.

Anyone with a bank account can open a Tdameritrade.com, Scottrade or Scwab account.

If retail traders are willingly hobbling themselves by trading in platforms that restrict them from before & after hours trading, they really shouldn't be "trafing".

They should be investing & holding what they buy.

If they think they can "trade" successfully without access to before & after hours, they might as well cut off a hand and then take up boxing.

So to clarify, RoninHood etc. allow limited extended hours.

The market is open 9:30 to 4 pm EST. RH allows trading between 9am - 6pm.

Established brokers have hours of 7 am to 8pm. Sometimes you need to get in early or bail late if you are actively trading. You need all those extended hours in your toolbox.
