Have you ever been to an escape room? I have. Loads of fun! The good ones are basically themed walk through attractions, where groups end up in different rooms solving different puzzles to move on to the next room until you escape. These puzzles parts have to be reset for folks to be able to figure out and to activate to get to work. We were in an Egyptian tomb one. And in one part we had to use a mirror to reflect light to something. We did it correctly but it wasn't working. But the mirror I guess needed to be replaced as it wasn't reflective enough to make it work But that puzzle was considered solved and we were allowed to move on to the next room. The ones running it are responsible for maintaining it and making sure that everything needed to give everyone a fair opportunity is in there to get through the challenge successfully. Even if they can't figure it out, at least they had a fair shot to try, and are moved on to the next challenge if it takes way too long and are moved on

Our trying to get through this life with the logic you mentioned, would be like someone going in and tampering with the puzzles in the room. Damaging or removing pieces And making it impossible for you to ever figure it out and try to solve them. And the creator, or the one overseeing it is just standing by not intervening to repair and fix what has been tampered with.

This allegory has been stuck in my mind ever since that experience. And I'm sure for good reason.

BTW I am a believer in Jesus. I do often wonder why things are hidden and do believe knowledge has been hidden and tampered with. I also don't want to believe our Heavenly Father and our creator, would create us humans, just to allow our eternal souls to be destroyed ignorantly by evil rulers of this world just like that and so easily.
I truly believe there's more to the story. And just like there's so much hidden. I believe the answers that are hopeful, are also equally just as hidden.
