Apparently not. Green bean casserole came out of a corporate kitchen at Campbell's Soup in 1955.

Campbell's claims a person named Dorcas Reilly invented it and in 2002, Dorcas Reilly presented the original recipe card to the National Inventors Hall of Fame in Akron, Ohio, USA.
