BREAKING: US Mint says there is a GLOBAL SHORTAGE OF SILVER | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 75285062 United States 05/28/2021 01:45 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I don’t think it will ever be a Bitcoin, I think the range someday will be I agree $90, to as much as $300 (should be). We can get into details about above ground, below ground, paper and physical, just Ag seems to be a very undervalued commodity. Your right, I'd much rather be "invested" in a non tangible, electronic "currency" with no physical component to it, devised by an unnamed unknown entity and existing online only for a unreachable price. I believe old man Webster would place a picture of Bitcoin next to the word scam. However, millions of people are going all in. Tulip mania part deux. |

The world will soon be awash in fake silver products. Fxck the chinese. |

Perfect distraction from the events of the next couple of months. Quoting: ZOOM OUT a distraction is generally a facade. this is no facade. there is a shortage. Oh you mean like the lumber shortage? The gasoline shortage? The ventilator shortage? Give me a fucking break with that shit. All shortages are manufactured. I can think of a few handfuls of places right now where I can get on and order and have it in my possession inside of a week. Shortage my ass. denial happens everytime when rampant inflation starts. |

Shortage my ass. Pretty obvious you don't follow the silver market: IE, you don't own any. We'll see. I have a few ounces on hand. Not stupid enough to buy paper or anything else. My visions are very long term, beyond this society's perspective of metal value. if you have money tied up in ira's, pslv maybe an alternative. many of the hardcore silver bugs respect it. pslv is a silver trust fund. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 80412105 United States 05/28/2021 02:06 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | i have a hunch that the price is manipulated down because many strong forces are vacuuming up as much as they can. they know that the dollar is going to be hurt really bad. they want to move their millions and billions to metals. they are quietly doing this, but don't want to do it all in one day. it needs to be slowly done as to not attract too much attention. gold has much less premiums if you are late to the game. |

Quoting: Mr. Lee REAL morgans can be had for alot less. And new Morgan’s aren’t even one ounce. hold on there, pardner.. Old Morgans weren't either. A Morgan or Peace dollar contains 0.77 ounce of pure silver. That's the Constitutional requirement. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 73415242 United States 05/28/2021 02:55 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I've been selling silver on ebay and people are paying $150/z, $175/z and even $200+/z there if you have the right coins. I have a 3/z coin proof set a guy was willing to pay $2000 for. That's $666/z. So what is the true price of Silver then? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80420070 What year and mint mark was the proof set? I dont know if today the price is still this high....but a 1oz 1995 W Silver eagle was selling for 4500.00 |

Quoting: mr dull socks how do you account for unknown supply simpleton? it doesnt matter how the shortage occurs simpleton. Manufactured or not have the same result simpleton. The goal is to devalue the dollar. That's a known fact. Any release is going to be geared for that narrative. ESPECIALLY from the US Mint. And why the insults? You feel threatened? BTW the simpletons will be the ones to survive this mess. Don't get mad at me just because you are unable to see the deception. As I said before, if there were truly a shortage, the market would already reflect it. You really don't understand financials. The us 'dollar' now has the purchasing power of $0.025 to a 1929 real dollar backed by gold. Tens of trillions of 'dollars' have been created over the last 3 years - they don't have to 'devalue' the dollar, it already IS crashing, and all those oversea's 'dollars' are now coming back to the USA. Silver and gold prices are a reflection of what is happening, it isn't causing it. It's crashing because they are causing it to crash. You seem to keep forgetting that this is a long con. They are drawing everyone in under false auspices so they can cut everyone's throat at the right moment, in more ways than one. Your claim that I don't understand financials is just your inability to see beyond the market. ... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78947727 The change to the new SAE will increase demand for the new coins coming from the mint. I would buy Silver Maples as the premiums are less. Or good old fashion bars. Anther buying point for maples is higher, .9999/superfine silver content/classificatiin, vs .999/fine for US eagles. Essentially every 1000 maples bought gets you one free bonus ounce of the Precious, in addition to that lower premium. Quoting: Mr. Lee REAL morgans can be had for alot less. US Mint products aren’t really for stackers (standard Eagles, aside.) They’re for numismatists and collectors. The premiums are far, far too high for bulk gains Premiums on any silver, if its available, ranges from $4 to $8 per Troy oz. The lower range is dependent on bulk purchases. It's gotten ridiculous. I think silver will spike at $100 or possibly higher before mining production ramps up to meet the demand. And that will take some time. I'll off load mine at $100 spot with a 20% premium on Ebay. |
