User ID: 76952466 United States 05/24/2021 01:37 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | We eat most meals in, and have a small flock of chickens (for eggs only...we don't slaughter when they get older) so we have eggs to share with our neighbors, and several of them are gardeners, so we get zucchini and tomatoes in season. I'm stocking up on coffee because I read that the area of South America that produces most of the beans has had a bad year, so sooner or later it'll be quite expensive, and harder to find. After last year's difficulty finding yeast, flour, and canning lids and rings, I'm slowly stocking up on all of them (the canning stuff for trading). But my freezers are pretty full, so I'm not panicky, and we have several streams of retirement income. My garden (mostly raised beds because of the wild bunnies) is off to a shaky start, but we're working on it this year like it will really matter...cause we both think it will.
