All the goodies are going to be departing soon. There arent many of the new actors that can compare to some of the greats.

Same for me, he was hilarious in that movie.

He’s dead again, I know he passed away a few years ago, must be the Mandela affect at work again!!!
 Quoting: chuckles45

CHUCK, as he was known when he was young, graduated from Peabody High School in Pittsburgh PA , class of 1953, my father was his classmate , also Peabody 1953

My dad said CHUCK always had an edge, and acted a like he was smarter than others - which he was , and that his MIDNIGHT RUN character was just a slightly toned down version of himself

and that the CARSON and LETTERMAN versions were him , but largely exaggerated versions, which were played to comic perfection

Peabody High School closed its doors in August 2012 , the week after it turned 100 years old

Re: RIP Charles Grodin

 Quoting: Captain KC Jones

bump
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear."
Marcus Tullius Cicero
