Report Copyright Violation | Baptist Preacher Arrested for Conducting Church Service The 3rd one in Canada... A Baptist minister in Calgary has become the third Canadian pastor to be arrested for defying China Virus orders regarding church services.
Tim Stephens, the pastor of Fairview Baptist Church, was taken into custody after Sunday service. He had been warned numerous times about preaching in defiance of the law.
“Our actions are borne out of theological commitments to the Lordship of Christ and his instruction to the church as revealed in Scripture,” Pastor Stephens wrote on the church’s website. “This, above all, is the reason why we have been gathering and will continue to gather.
