Barge industry is under the jurisdiction of the Coastal Guard and the Corp of Engineers. In this case also under TDOT, TN. The above give orders that’s why barges aren’t moving nor they can turn around. My understanding is that when the Corp assess the problem and how they’ll fix it the traffic UNDER the bridge will resume. The Barge companies can sue so the traffic will be resumed soon.
