My parents confronted my childhood bully's parents. It just got worse for me because I ratted to my parents. The only thing that worked was an all out 1 on 1 fight at the bus stop one morning. I didn't win, but he never messed with me after that.

If someone ever told me my son was bullying he would be in so much trouble, grounded for the rest of his childhood, I would make him publicly apologize in front of all the other kids.

My son won't be bullied. He is already really confident, smart, tall for his age and a leader. He doesn't let any other kids boss him around.

not exactly a "bully", but there was a kid who bit my daughter on the buss... and we went and visited the kid's parents - and showed them the wound, (luckily it did not break the skin, but it did swell and turn blue and green and I warned them, that this would NOT EVER HAPPEN AGAIN, or they would held accountable ... and it never happened again ... they didn't even try to make any excuses for his behavior - they saw how furious I was and drove their kid to school for the rest of the school year
