First it says 15 billion then it says 14 billion...also wtf are miles. Use kilometers instead.

or just tell us 0.0025516169253488 light years away

15 billion miles from earth, 14 billion miles from spacecraft.
To convert miles to kilometres, multiply by 1.6.
Easy enough, or common-core?

It's the Americans, they still use the measurement system of their British overlords, despite so called independence, and that system being pretty archaic and dumb
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 68146671

The metric system was invented to be used by people too stupid and/or lazy to understand inches, feet and miles.

We are three thousand horses, and not one afraid;
We are three thousand sabres and not a dull blade.

Its flown 15 billion miles in 44 years and not one scratch on the windshield.
Battery life wow!
Let's build planes like that.

Mathematically, metric makes a lot more sense. Most of the world uses it for a reason.
Americans are stuck too far up their own asses to know it.

Re: NASA's Voyager-1 spacecraft hears 'hum' outside our solar system - from 15 BILLION miles away
Updated my original post earlier to include the
video (below) from Ben Davidson who believes he has
a "handle" on what all this Voyager 1 business is about.

His definition of the "Milky Way's Electric Current Sheet"
is very interesting and would certain explain these
Voyager "hums" detection.

Listen to his report at the end of the video--he
mentions VOYAGER 1 specific.

Davidson believes the "electric current sheet" will
trigger our next solar micro-nova. (I'm not sure where
Doug Vogt stands on this as the trigger...from what I
have understood from Vogt's video series and book on the Solar
Micro-Nova Clock Cycle, Vogt believes THE SUN--as well as
other stars linked in series to ours--MICRO-NOVA due to
a "synchronous reset" but doesn't explain what that is.

Here is Ben Davidson's "take" on this phenomenon of
the "Electric Galactic Current Sheet"--what it looks like
*(great animation at the 2 min mark)--and how it may
trigger our star in this 7 minute recent video:

[link to youtu.be (secure)]
FairUSE
7 minute duration. 2 Min. mark shows the diagram
of the Milky Way's "Galactic Current Sheet" as well
as the REMNANT OF THE LAST SOLAR MICRO-NOVA "The
Radcliff Wave" which sits behind our solar system
(having happened 12,000 years ago--on a CYCLE soon to
be repeated.)

Anyone with more info about Vogt's "take" please add your
input.

cheers

This post will be added to GLP member "Adragon's" thread
on the Solar Micro-nova--where most of the info can be
found since 12-2018--today 5-12-2021. This is that link:

the view count is nearly 100,000 views.)
