Lost my cat :( [UPDATE: FOUND]

That's interesting. My backyard neighbor's automatic light was on and off all night last night. I wonder if he got trapped in there.

My cat climbed up inside my mattress when movers were moving me to another place. He jumped out of their truck about a mile before they got to my new place. I put his litter box out by the garage and he showed up at my new apartment 2 weeks later at 2 in the morning. Cats are amazing, resourceful and resilient. If you put his litter box up in the window, he'll find his way back, lol.

LOOK CLOSELY AT THAT PHOTO RIGHT BEFORE BEDTIME. STARE AT IT AND THEN SEE IT WITH EYES CLOSED IN YOUR HEAD. DO THIS MULTIPLE TIMES.

THEN SEE HIM COMING BACK INTO THE HOUSE. PLAY IT IN YOUR MIND LIKE A MOVIE.

WITH FOCUSED EFFORT YOU ARE GOING TO MAGNETICALLY CONNECT AND PULL HIM BACK INTO THE HOUSE.

MAKE IT HAPPEN. HE LOOKS LIKE AN AWESOME CAT :)

We lost our Cat for 7 weeks a few years back. We posted on Lost and Found Pet sites and also let the Pound and local Vets know that he was missing. I walked around the neighbourhood calling him for a few weeks. We had had a snake in our garden a few weeks before so were worried that maybe a snake had got him.

We were just about to give up hope when the Pound rang us to say he had been handed in. Someone had thought he was a stray and fed him for a couple of weeks before getting him checked and handing him in. Fortunately he was chipped and we had advised the Animal Records Staff to put an alert on his records.

He had lost about 4 kilos but was in good health. Like others have said Cats are very resilient and if they need to can usually fend for themselves.

I hope he comes home soon. He is a beautiful Cat.

When he came back in, he started desperately meowing. He was so happy to see me. He purred for 30 minutes straight and soaked up the attention, then ate a whole can of food.

I'm never opening that window again.
