I have an old ipod touch that I use in the workout room. USB digital audio to a Yamaha RCVR, 5.1 surround. Killer system. Treble can shatter glass, sub-woofer can pulverize the concrete cellar walls underneath.

Never bought an i-Pod, but I have bought other mp3 players. Bought a SanDisk Bluetooth mp3 player just last week. Syncs up nicely with the Bluetooth speaker that came with my Audio-Technica turntable.

I like to load up my mp3 players with mp3s of old radio shows (like The Mysterious Traveler) I download off the internet.

No to the I-Pod, but still dialed in with the portables...
