Any new applications i fill out will have a 30 to 35 an hour minimum or i wont be taking the job. Thats for local truck drivers. I suggest all other local cdl drivers do the same.

OTR jobs 150k a year start minimum or fk um.

Might be 45 to 50 by years end.

It won’t because of the law of supply and demand. More dollars chasing the same merchandise will result in higher prices. At which point people with your mindset will say the floor to earnings should be 80k / year. Prices will rise accordingly and you will continually need to petition for higher wages.

It will be.. Just give it about 4 years. Youll even be able to afford a 3000 sq ft home that cost under 60,000. Currently we are doing some house keeping but Stay Tuned!

Double digit IQs can't seem to understand that raising minimum wage only drives jobs overseas, unless minimum wage hikes are coupled with tariffs that force businesses to operate within the country - but that will never happen while the globalist systems of power reign over us.

There would need to be places to spend it so a few Amazon types will deliver directly from some Costco warehouse. Back to the days of 'Sears Mail-order' only digital. The factories would be bots and most industries like mining and agriculture will be mostly bots as computers take care of the timing and 'the farmer' is there to call a mechanic if some piece of machinery stops working.

The extra income would allow you to be a global tourist on your 'days off'. I'm sure your job will be waiting for you if you get back from your 'holiday'.

That sounds about right. I made over $150K a few years and only "took home" about $73K of that after taxes were taken out. Then I shelled out another $17,724 to rent a 1000sqft 1 bedroom apartment. Another $3193.20 on a car(Honda Civic) and another $2640 to insure it. About $4800/yr on groceries. $3000/yr on health insurance. 10% to 401K.

OP is partially right. Wages have not kept up with inflation and cost of living since the 1970's and it should. Any single income full-time worker in America should be able to afford to financially take care of his family, with all the basics of today's living standard well covered and a bit left over for emergencies and savings.

Because of the increasing divergence, the nuclear family has been all but torn apart with women forced to work instead of taking care of the house and children. The progressive DOE has literally trained up the past few generations of children and now we are here. Meanwhile, the elite have made a killing off the under-waged worker for the past 60 years. It's unconscionable. 50K is about right as the absolute minimum real pay needed to build back the working/middle class and have families not be destroyed by perpetual debt and impoverished living standards. Wake up to the real costs of living in 2021 in the wealthiest nation in the world.
