50s and 60s weren’t the best years.
They were the fakest years humanity had ever lived!

 Quoting: Cnevermore

Well I lived through them, and every decade since,
and I can GUARANTEE you that they were THE BEST.

How old are you?

When you say FAKE, do you mean that the churches
were full and the bars and all the stores were
closed on Sunday, the Lord's day?

That kind of FAKE?

Perverts were jailed instead of being given PARADES?

That kind of FAKE?

People came back from WWII and went to work for
Westinghouse, or General Electric, or the A&P,
or Sears, or Bethlehem Steel, or General Motors,
and RETIRED from those same companies which took
good care of their faithful employees.

That kind of FAKE?

When you counted the dimes and quarters and
half-dollars in your pocket they were made of 90%
pure SILVER?

That kind of FAKE?

You MUST be a STUPID KID, because you certainly
didn't live through the fifties.

This can go more than one way.

The secular part of me thinks it's the beginning of a new Dark time for the culture, like after the fall of the Roman Empire...that it's going to be a period of War and Upheaval that will require a few hundred years to sort out.

Or from my perspective as a Christian- this is the End Times foretold in the Bible. It's going to get bad, but God's got this. It will be done in God's time but it will be better than the happiest day you've ever had!

They are now the power hungry elderly, still unwilling to relinquish control of society and trying to sell out every last drop of what this country ever had, just to fund their retirements and the entirety of their children's generation be damned.

They created this mess by not getting out the way when it was their time to go.

Funny how population can also be a bubble, and we are now in the process of riding that bubble down to the floor. We knew it was coming.

The Hunger Games

was really about

The Vaccine Games.

Another movie that comes to mind is the last scenes of "It's a Wonderful Life."

Bedford Falls has become Pottersville, and banker Henry Potter has replaced George Bailey.

In the US's case, Potter is like a combination of Jeff Bezos and George Soros. The "bank" is Silicon Valley and corporations like Coca-cola, Delta, Nike.

Instead of Pottersville, we've become Bidenland.

I don't think America's movie, however, is going to have a happy ending.

Yea, it WAS really a wonderful life, certainly comparatively so.

Thanks, liberals of America, for ruining everything.

Yes. It is the end times and therefore, there will be no golden age to come until Jesus Christ takes back this fallen world from satan. Things shall get way worse and people need to consider their eternal life and salvation and loosen their desire for this fallen world to normalize. It is corrupt to the core and only Jesus can fix it. All we can do is loosen our grip on the world, tighten on grip on Jesus, persevere, overcome, and share the good news.

It seems the world has shifted and we are now living in the
beginnings of a dystopian nightmare.

Things I never thought possible are all around.

Re-writing of history.
Begging for Socialism.
Lining up for untested poison jabs.
Living in total fear of damn near everything.
Totally dependent and addicted to--- a mobile phone.
Clamoring to give away others rights.
Screaming to take away guns.
Blatant voter fraud with no repercussions.
Full steam ahead toward the technocratic NWO.
Economy going down the tubes.
Depopulation agenda.
Poison food.
etc.

I worry for the future of the world and our country.

I worry for our children and future generations
(if anyone can even still have babies after the jab...)

While there have been many technological advances,
some have not been for the better.

I do hope we can alter the path of this slow motion train wreck.

Most of what's ailing America goes way beyond simple economics.

Yea, there are financial problems, such as a lack of affordable housing, etc, that may have some connections to what you're describing.

But most of America is facing a crisis of ideology, culture, social dynamics.

The co-founder of BLM has been investing in fancy real estate, including a nice home for herself in an upper-income, mainly white part of LA.

Meanwhile, her BLM has encouraged the devastation of various communities throughout the US.

She's living large while other people face burned-out or looted businesses.

America has been in moral freefall since the
sixties.

We are now in TOTAL MORAL COLLAPSE.

If people are so deluded to think that that
has no consequences, REALITY will prove them
WRONG.

America started out as an almost 100% Christian
population, and many actually lived out the
Christian life.

Now, you can't tell the pagans from the Christians
in most cases, and the satanic Federal Government
hasn't helped to wash away our Christian Foundation,
they have DYNAMITED it.

When Biden called GOD, "you know, THAT THING!"

In the fifties he would have been attacked and torn
limb from limb.

Today BLASPHEMY doesn't even raise an eyebrow.

It is still illegal in any places in America
though unenforced.

ALL THINGS are possible with GOD,
so as depraved as America has become,
there is ALWAYS HOPE, but we are certainly
NOT heading in the direction of REPENTANCE
of our WICKED WAYS.

When I've seen churches with rainbow signs or banners out front and message boards that sound like they're hosting the ACLU, Planned Parenthood or the GLBT, that's when I knew things were really starting to fray.

Hell, look at the guy in charge of the Vatican in Rome. He's like a Catholic version of Joe Biden or Barack Obama.

1959er here with a big brother born in 51.

my entire life I have feared that once the generations
that fought WW2, and their children were gone, the
grandchildren would be corrupted and not carry the torch

When mt father graduated HS in 1937, he got a pocket
hardback book of the D/I and Constitution

When they finally took him from Bethlehem shipyard to
the army in 1944, the army gave him a pocket hardback
prayer book

Now they probably issue something with a rainbow

born in the 60's im completely done with this 'world'. I hoped that forums like this could turn the tide.

But in fact, they played part in the dystopia.

what I remember from the 80's is that everything was alive.

Not good, not bad, but alive, human. Emotions and love.

Now I see only hate.

It's obvious and i'm grateful that was born in the 60's

grandchildren will grow up in hell a dystopia.

And even worse they will fight everyone that wants to change it.

There are moms and dads not birth people and providers and there are only 2 genders and there used to be a land called America.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80301826

So true... The 80’s were wonderful. I don’t believe the beautiful grand babies have a long future unfortunately. Tribulation is coming. The goal for everyone should be to make it out of here with one’s soul in tact. Jesus is the only way.
