Reaction will be to print more money, increasing the US debt.

More than likely the hack was known about way earlier than reported, and OP's source was told about it after it happened, but before it was reported to the public.

Modern diesel does not store well.
It develops algae overtime from the biodiesel components as well as retains water. You can use treatment s to deal with both so they store longer. As well dyed fuel or offroad diesel stores better as it generally is used in seasonal use machinery so must store better.
I used to buy the highest octane gasoline for the zero biofuel blend to keep gasoline. then about 4-6 ounces of stabil or even store brand stabilizer for gas.

More likely, the Intel was given before they made the announcement today there was a hack, and the pipeline shut down.

The Washington borg immediately attributed the hack to Russia. Then President Trump attributed it to China. But none of those claims were backed up by facts or known evidence.
