Planned reduction due to foreseen? ...Cyber attack. Quoting: MKPitBull I’m in Louisiana, don’t know about other States. Just relaying what they said to do now. Take it for what it’s worth. Keep vehicles full and extra gas cans you can store safely. Planned "Cyber Pandemic" |

Quoting: JF Priest Quite possible in certain areas. I’m not sure how they foresee a cyber attack like she’s saying unless it’s planned . Unless there’s another reason they’re not telling. Anyway, I keep all 4 of my vehicles full and several gas cans stored. Been doing it for years. Doesn’t hurt to be prepared. Advantage to having a couple of beater vehicles is they make good storage tanks. "Be like water my friend”- Bruce Lee |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 77031197 United States 05/07/2021 04:29 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This whole notion of a "cyber" attack bring down the country is just hard to believe. Does gasoline travel through wires? Does gasoline come from hard drives? No. Unless people have become so stupid that they forgot how to manipulate the physical world, cyber attack isn't going to stop anything but tik tok nurses. Selfie takers might have some serious withdrawl, but it will do us good to get back to the analog (real) world again. How did we ever make it this far as a civilization without all the cybers? Think about it. |

She said they aren't getting anything coming in on their trucks if the item(s) are made outside of the US. Take it for what it's worth. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77951042 They WILL raise the price of gasoline, by any and all means necessary, to the prices in Europe ($7 - $9 per gallon) There was never a time to own anything that gets less than 40mpg. Anyone that does is contributing to higher energy costs for everything, and are usually democRat tards. |

User ID: 77115534 United States 05/07/2021 04:54 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | What the COVID-19 pandemic teaches us about cybersecurity – and how to prepare for the inevitable global cyberattack [link to www.weforum.org (secure)] Lesson 2: “ If cyber-COVID mirrored the pathology of the novel coronavirus, 30% of infected systems would be asymptomatic and spread the virus, while half would continue functioning with performance severely degraded – the digital equivalent of being in bed for a week. Meanwhile 15% would be “wiped” with total data loss, requiring a complete system reinstall. Finally, 5% would be “bricked” – rendering the device itself inoperable. The end result: millions of devices would be taken offline in a matter of days. The only way to stop the exponential propagation of cyber-COVID would be to fully disconnect all vulnerable devices from one another and the internet to avoid infection. The whole world could experience cyber lockdown until a digital vaccine was developed. All business communication and data transfers would be blocked. Social contact would be reduced to people contactable by in-person visits, copper landline, snail-mail or short-wave radio. A single day without the internet would cost the world more than $50 billion. A 21-day global cyber lockdown could cost over $1 trillion.” Prepare yourself for the coming power outage!!
