My kid was in elementary school a while back in California and there was a teacher's assistant who was causing a bit of an uproar because she was a stripper and no doubt probably a cam girl.

I was talking to my young California neighbor about it and saying it wasn't appropriate and she jumped in saying she'd be stripping too if she ever needs to pay her mortgage.

I was stunned. This was what used to be conservative Orange county.

Now I just shrug.

Homeschooling sounds appropriate these days.
