From The Desk Of Humanity - Opinion piece.

Hello dear fellow humans,

I'd like to discuss trust as it relates to Government and the repercussions if that trust is irrevocably broken.

A society loses it's coherence if the public is unable to have faith in it's laws, regulations and mandates.

Much like an unfaithful partner , something is broken and no matter how hard you endeavor to forgive and forget, the memory lingers like a stalking shadow in the background of our thoughts.

Has your government betrayed you ?

Have they not really had your best interests at heart?

Have they lied and deceived you?

Have they become a threat to your well being?

We know this is not new in the behavior of governments and history shows humanity has had some extremely abusive relationships in the past with their respective governments.

Humanity behaves in this relationship dynamic, not unlike the abused wife or husband and on some occasions may rise up and kick the abuser out.

But what happens when humanity realizes that no form or style of government can be trusted?

What happens to the structure of society?

Well just like a marriage with no trust , it begins to breakdown and both parties may act out vengeance and retribution.

Does the burning down of city buildings and riots display the angst humanity has of a relationship with government in any form, that has betrayed them?

Beyond the norm of everyday abuse , like broken promises and mismanagement of the economy and the environment, what new level of abuse has been inflicted upon humanity?

Locked up like prisoners in our own home for one.
Not just having our ability to speak freely taken from us , but a mandated mask to prove it.

An attack on humanity with a virus , that no one is being held accountable for and a government solution that is killing or causing permanent disability.

An election in which humanity is suppose to have it's say in this relationship with government, stolen from them.

But what happens when there is no government?

Chaos and mayhem mostly , death and starvation ensue.

The average Joe may claim , they have a gun , they can defend themselves.

But your neighbor, who has a bigger gun and opposes your viewpoint is threatening you.

So humanity normally deals with this by forming Alliances and groups or gangs , you could call them tribes, form.

Each tribe has it's leadership structure and from that humanity again begins another unhealthy relationship.

So what is humanity to do to escape this endless catch 22?
