Gates' divorce = Lou Pai hustle?
Some have already posted on glp that they suspect Bill/Melinda Gates' divorce is an action meant to safeguard their billions. This is actually not without precedent

Lou Pai was a married Enron executive living a lavish lifestyle. Deregulation allowed Enron to operate largely outside of government scrutiny, and enabled embezzlement by its executives

Pai pulled off a divorce scam, cashing out clean before Enron collapsed, detailed here:

Synopsis of video: in possibly the same moves made in the Bill/Bezos divorces, in order to settle his divorce, Lou Pai cashed out $250 million of Enron stock just previous to the company's collapse. His early selloff protected him against most of the charges of insider trading leveled against the other Enron executives

Divorce can thereby be used as a 'hustle' or emergency measure to preserve wealth

As others have already posted, adding some fuel to the above theory:

"2 attorneys in Bill and Melinda Gates' divorce also worked on Jeff Bezos' split in 2019"

He is this nerdy guy I used to beat up on the redline back when I was in tech school. His buddy Paul the Bass player was cool.
