If you are trying to lose weight. It isn’t a sprint. It’s a marathon.

Easiest way is what I did... and trust me I was a very lazy (still am) guy that was like 100+kg, long hair and massive boobs... virgin into my 30's.

My tips:

Replace your job with a physically demanding job.

I was doing Admin/IT jobs in my teens and in my 20's, always tons of cakes and food in offices and you are doing almost no exercise.

I got a parcel delivering job, I walk at least 5k steps per day due to this, sometimes more than 15k, tons of them stairs and I optimised my deliveries so much that I am basically earning almost 4x times more than I did in Admin and working like half the time.

I also got pull up bars installed through the wall above my bed, I did it with my friend so all in all cost me less than $80, I can be in my bed watching the latest conspiracy video while doing resistance training on it, smoking a spliff and using my dog as a pillow. And I can just jump on it to do bars.

Oh yeah, get a dog helps too. forces you out of the house more if you are a hermit like me.

I went from a high weight of probably around 115kg-120kg to being around 70kg. From being pure fat to having some definition.

I Swapped Soda w Water like 6 yrs ago, I still drink soda but nothing compared to my old self.

I Swapped 2/3 meals per day to 1/2 meals per day and when I feel able to I do water fasts, did 3 days w no food and felt pretty good at the end of it.

Its been totally worth it.

And I'm not a virgin anymore ;) Been w 2 girls I fantasised about for soooo long... neither relationship worked out but hey I never thought I'd have sex... and I've had sex w 2 girls I thought were out of my league!!!!... and in the end I learnt it was the other way around, I can do better than them... (both were really crack addicts :()

I agree with that analogy.. What a lot of people don't realize is it's not about losing or even gaining. It's about a lifestyle choice. Anyone can do it with the right amount of will power but in order to maintain you have to be committed to a routine. It's work And it's hard but it gets easier as you go.. I'm really glad to see people wanting to work on their health. Long time ago I was told. If you don't have your health, you don't have anything.. And I found my own meaning of that. Quitters never win and winners never quit.. Stay motivated

Re: If you are trying to lose weight. It isn’t a sprint. It’s a marathon.
The toughest part is the beginning . First few weeks. Because you want to lose such a big chunk and it takes time. So maybe first few weeks don’t monitor the scale. Leave notes on your wall your strong you can do this it’s important to take care of yourself . One day at a time . Small steps. Give yourself confidence

And start small

30-40 minute light walk 3-4 days a week

Then after a few weeks

30-40 minute faster walk 4-5 days a week

Then a few weeks start doing push ups and sit ups

It helps to write down what you eat also in each day. So you can see it. It really does help. Sometimes you write it down and are like I don’t really need that. Or you were really healthy that day and you read what you wrote down and are happy and proud of yourself.

Drink lots of water . Add lemon to it. Cold water actually burns calories so lots of ice ! (Except if you’re polish . No ice then . This is a family Inside joke and yes I am polish )

Cut out soda and other sugars

However . Have a cheat day every week or every two weeks. Just don’t eat too much. But save chocolate and milk shakes and cheese burgers for that day. And feel good about it. You earned it.

Light walk? Maybe if you're 400 pounds. If you're in ok shape and want to lose 20 or 30 pounds a light walk isn't going to do anything for you. Walking is not excercise, lets not pretend that it is.
