Sheep Stuck on her Back Saved by Farmer

She already gave birth. They are pretty fat. And they are not very nimble, once rolled too far onto their back. I have never seen it before, but I hear it happens every once in a while.

That's a rather serious design flaw really though I imagine predators find it delightful.

It is a flaw! Although I think more a domestication flaw by man.

LOL The ONLY way my panicky sheep would EVER let us get close to them is if they happen to turn over on their back.
Luckily, none of them turned over yet, and I have Dorper Sheep, which rub the wool off (no need to shear) on trees and fencing.

My partner has done the same. We see it occasionally here in Aberdeenshire. Just climb the fence and right it over - better than leaving it to die
