Good grief! This is typical of someone who knows nothing about mares, with a newborn running the outside fence, and what she will do to protect that foal. Having the mare loose, or on a super long line WAS STUPID!

From the age that foal looks it is probably her foal heat, or 9 day foal heat. Too soon for most mares to have gotten relaxed and settle down being a mom. And, you can see how panic stricken that foal is running the fence.

That is what a breeding stand is for!! Someone halters that foal, places that foal at the front of the stand on one side. The mare is placed in the stand so she can smell and nuzzle the foal. The stallion is not allowed to jump that mare until she breaks and blinks, and he is READY to mount that mare. Only then!!! And, some mares just flat will not allow any breeding as long as they have a foal on them. I've had several of those over the years.

As a breeder and raiser of AQHA horses and been around them since I was 8, and that was 60 years of riding and raising and breeding stock ... This BS should not be allowed to happen.

Needless death, and the foal also got hurt when it fell, and rolled in a ditch. Watch the clip again! Poor little thing. All it will remember is chaos caused by men!



These assholes got what was coming to them. Too bad their being idiots caused the death of a nice stallion.
