[link to www.blueletterbible.org (secure)]

Isaiah 18:7 In that time shall the present be brought unto the LORD of hosts of a people scattered and peeled, and from a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden under foot, whose land the rivers have spoiled, to the place of the name of the LORD of hosts, the mount Zion.

Isaiah 24:15 Wherefore glorify ye the LORD in the fires, even the name of the LORD God of Israel in the isles of the sea.

Isaiah 30:27 Behold, the name of the LORD cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire:

Isaiah 48:1 Hear ye this, O house of Jacob, which are called by the name of Israel, and are come forth out of the waters of Judah, which swear by the name of the LORD, and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness.

Isaiah 50:10 Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God.

Isaiah 56:6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;

Isaiah 59:19 So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

Isaiah 60:9 Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee.

Re: Book of Isaiah - God / Father / Jehovah / the LORD - KJV Bible Study
whenever you see the word LORD in caps in the OT it's a replaement word for the tetragrammaton, or Yahweh. when the prophet refers to yahweh as the father, he means the father of abraham and the hebrews. In deutrono0my 32:8 in any translation, masoretic, septuagint, or qumram, it ends with the verse "Yahweh's portion is Jacob, the lot of his inheritance.

So basically that's what the prophet is saying when he speaks of the father. Some would conflate the text with the NT and state that this refers to Yahweh being the father of Jesus.

But it is not.

Interesting that you make a thread like this and you still have NO CLUE as to the true name of the Father.

Even your GLP name shows that you worship Baal.
In the ancient He-brew, Paleo He-brew, which is what the Prophets and Disciple spoke LORD means Baal.

Before you make threads like this you should do a more thorough investigation of your topic.
And not allow your ego get in the way of learning truth. You need to unlearn in order to learn.

What a bunch of propaganda - personal opinion.

And a personal attack.

"the LORD" in the KJV is God - the Father.
The phrase is used to replace either YHWH or YHVH from ancient Yebrew manuscripts.

Dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb...

"jehovah" was the pen name created by freemason/jesuit sir Isaac Newton. But not until after the letters "J" and "V" were created by a guy working for the pope.

This is nothing but jesuit propaganda for the purpose of misleading people to hell...

Hell is waiting with anticipation for the capture of the wicked spirit spouting this nonsense.

"...Originally, the phrase was used by Hippocrates, a Greek physician by profession. [4th Century BCE]

The full quotation in Latin is,
"Ars longa, vita brevis, occasio praeceps, experimentum periculosum, iudicium difficile".

It means "life is short, the art is long or lives long, opportunity fleeting, experiment treacherous, judgment difficult."

I'm guessing "iudicium" ["judgement"] might have been pronounced with a "j" sound, just like Iuly, Iune, iocularity [and lots more] weren't suddenly pronounced with a j sound just because the letter j was suddenly invented and 'just for no reason' replaced all the letter I's .
And if you'll note, there are a couple of V's in the Latin version , too.
So, HaVa nagila . B/c you must become nothing but yoyful.

Nah.

I’m opting out.

I don’t subscribe to the idea of being a filthy dirty little sinner that needs to beg and grovel for “forgiveness” or face eternal suffering and torment by the “oh-so-loving and merciful” god that killed hundreds of thousands of innocent people, demanded worship, admitted to being a god of anger and jealousy, and is responsible for creating evil.

Nah.

Isaac Newton didn't live before the Dead Sea Scrolls were written.

The "v" is part of the Yebrew language.

The "J" is merely an Anglican transtation of "Y" - Yehovah.

From Strong's Concordance.

The Father said "This is my beloved SON".

Changing the Bible to your false yaw-ghey

[Rev 22:18-21 KJV] 18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and [from] the things which are written in this book.

20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with you all. Amen.
