Time Traveler from October 2021 trying to return from 2015 and got stuck here

Hi there. I am a GLP anonymous coward. I post here regularly and did so right up until Halloween night of 2021. It was a dark and stormy night and I went out for a drive to a movie theater to watch a flick for the evening and on the way home, there was an amazing lightning storm. I drive a truck made of steel, a power pole was hit by lightning, fell down in the road and the loose wire was flailing around in the road in a puddle. My truck was in the same puddle. I had just slammed on the breaks. The power line danced up and hit the exterior of the truck and then lightning hit the truck. I was not touching any of the metal in the car at the time. The interior is cloth and plastic. I saw an amazing light display and the sound was impressive to say the least. Afterwards, I was blinded by the light for a couple of minutes and when I could see again, the power lines were not down, it was only a slight drizzle outside and there weren't any big puddles. My truck would not start. I got out and my cell phone could not pick up service, so I went for help and that's when I discovered that it was October 31, 2015.

It was literally a miracle. I have read so many bullshit stories on GLP about time travel and never believed one of them. Now, here I am a time traveler and nobody is going to buy this shit. What is more, I tried to post to GLP in 2015 from a library and got the library's IP address banned. I couldn't talk to anyone I bumped into; they would think I am totally crazy about time travel, the coming scamdemic or anything else. It was nice to see people not wearing masks for a change, but other than that, I just wanted to get back to my own time.

I found my old self and managed to get the truck fixed using money that my old self had. We agreed posting to GLP was going to be a big waste of time since nobody was going to believe shit anyway and I waited for another storm to hit. I dragged chains on the back of the truck connected to a battery in the storm and went back to the exact location where I had time travelled during the next storm, which was 2 days later.

The really weird thing is this. Everything that happened between my old self and me became an instant memory in my head as though it had happened 6 years earlier to me when I was the old self and now I feel like I have known about time travel for the past 6 years.

The truck with the chains dragging attached to a battery in the back of the truck attracted lighting and shot me back into the future. Here is the stupid thing. It could have shot me into the past; I don't know what I am doing. Oddly though, it shot me to today instead and I am 5.5 years into the future from my last time travel instead of 6 years into the future. If it had been 6 years going forward, I would have landed on November 2, 2021, but I arrived on May 2, 2021.

My old self is here again and I went over to him and he took me in and I told him it almost worked. We agreed to post on GLP now because you all already know about the scamdemic and probably want to know what happens in the next 6 months so ask me a question.
