This is so sad for border neighbors . I never in my wildest thoughts would of guessed that my last water trip over to Kingston was the LAST in the fall of 2019 .

None of this makes sense. I was in Canada one time. Went to see the Canadian Niagara Falls. It was beautiful.

In the future, I doubt there will be any requirements to cross anyone's border except the fortitude to get there.

Massive restrictions....we all had to have 4 COVID test the week before the shoor.
Everyone needed to to go through health check ups and fill out a form daily.

The best part. Those who were vaccinated were treated the same.

The producer had a meeting with the entire crew the first day.

She told everyone, "DO OT even try to tell me your vaccinated. The COVID health department does not care if you have had 10 vaccines. you still must follow the rules.
If anyone has an issue at anytime you can leave, we will pay you but your crew will have to take up the slack because no one can replace you. Everyone needs to have the 4 test the week before."

I am curious then if the States doesn't require a passport, can we freely drive there without one? What happens when we return to Canada?

If the States isn't asking for the passport, then I will travel there, and fuck what they say on the way back. They can't force us to quarantine, they can't force us to take the test. All they can do is give us a ticket, which can be fought in court, if it even goes to court. I am so sick of this. Travelling is good for my mental health.

They can. They already are demanding this in Europe everywhere. If test positive at the border you have to go e.g. to the next hotel and stay there until they release you.

Actually, they can't in Canada. It is against our charter of rights. Many people have now refused to go to the quarantine hotel, and to have the test done once they get here. They give you a ticket, which can be fought in court. You have to know your rights. Yes, they want to intimidate us into believing we have to do these things, but we are protected by the Charter of Rights.

I just read earlier on today that a new rule goes into effect there, unpaid covid fines will not allow you to renew your driver’s licence.

And I've heard they plan on doing pcr tests for the vaccinated at 28 cycles and non-vaccinated at 40-45 cycles (as they've been doing for covid).
