California releasing 63,000 violent felons back onto the streets in effort to create 'safer prisons'

I dunno. On the one hand, the US has some really severe penalties for many crimes as compared to other westernized countries. It's pretty rare in other countries for convicts to get a sentence greater than 10 years. The vast majority are only a couple years.

On the other hand, I don't think it's a good idea to dump 10s of thousands of convicts on the street at once.

Our whole criminal justice system needs reform. The vast majority of those imprisoned probably shouldn't be imprisoned at all. The people who need to be locked up are the prisoners and rapists and serial felons. I don't know what good it does to luck someone up for a victimless DUI or a joint.

Good luck protecting yourself from these violent criminals. YOU’LL end up in prison for hurting even a strand of hair on these “precious angels” as Pelosi calls them. Your the bad guy for shooting a felon attempting to murder or rape you. Just like your the bad guy for not letting yourself get beaten to death

the thing is, they have no idea they are idiots. Someone I know would say this is just a certain powerful group sowing chaos by releasing prisoners. However, they are not advertising their actions, they are getting other people to do it under false pretenses. That means they were successful in convincing people (Democrat lawmakers) that releasing lots of violent offenders to create safer prisons was a good idea based on their own world view, not the view of the people wanting chaos.

I can't tell which insiders would be knowingly aiding the plan and which are merely convinced it's a good idea because they are that smart. Generally the higher up you go the better chance of having the double agent, but when dealing with the level of stupidity of liberals you can't take anything for granted.

That's all assuming what the person I know says is true, otherwise they're not only stupid, but they're creatively stupid. Creatively stupid with power.

Personally , i sat gas all the prisons and throw in the corrupt wardens and security and start over ...the thing is , the prison system is a massive money making machine for all but the good people and especially fir the cartels and gang bangers...if it wasn't for the prisons many cartels wouldn't exist .

U see that one kid recently , prison fir him he hit a family while racing and killed a couple..
