Another far left social declivity experiment. It's not bad enough they are teaching boys to be girls. The approaches are multi faceted and must be designed to infuriate normal God fearing people. It can't be about inclusion or sympathy because they don't want it in their backyard.

The new Mayor in St Louis wants to limit focus on policing and focus on counseling ....yeah like that will work.

Moves to defund the police and name all the streets after spooks.

Communism runs through it. All of it. Social Justice is just a moniker for the "useful idiots"

It’s prison. It’s not supposed to be fun or safe. It’s punishment

What do they think prison is, the happiest place on earth like Disney Land??

This should be an Onion article, but unfortunately its just our insane reality.

Cant make it up. Not safer cities. Not safer streets. Not safer neighborhoods. SAFER PRISONS is the goal. So we must empty the prisons to do so. Leftists have lost their fucking minds.

Back in the 90’s, the anti-gang CRASH unit of the Rampart LAPD got busted for going “Dirty Harry” and setting up gang-bangers to put them in prison. It was a social justice and crime went down, but when it was found out, over 100 gangbangers were released from prison back in Los Angeles streets.

Crime suddenly spiked in Los Angeles again, and that was with just 100 gangbangers being released.

I can’t imagine what’s going to happen when they release 63,000 violent felons!

Sorry about the paywall, Nutmeg.

Basically, enough voters signed the recall petition that it will likely go on the Nov 2021 ballot and he’ll be OUT in January.

Could be the new police force that will replace the real police who are being demonized and possibly defunded.

These inhuman criminals are exactly the type of "police" dems want.

The following is wild conjecture on my part.

Prisons are businesses, hell at least one corp that owns prisons can be traded on the market; that was a few years ago when they had their IPO, and I believe LeBron James invested.
Not sure it's stock is still on the market.

BUT prison is still business regardless, and the more asses in the seats the more profits they make.

So maybe they get rid of the big time trouble makers to be replaced by non-violent criminals and save money by cutting how many COs they have staffed.

They'll put easier to handle butts in the seats to replace the hard asses.

Another bait click header. I don't undertsand the need to be so misleading. You make it sound like they will just open the doors next week and they will all walk out. It doesn't work that way. They become eligible for good behavior privileges that can add up to early release, they won't all just "get out".

Misleading? I posted what the media posted. Blame them. I dont do "bait click,"or whatever you call it. I don't need attention.

Please explain how this "California releasing violent felons" will be done and exactly why. You must be in the California government and know exactly why/how/for what reason this is being done.

I know you would not have criticized me and posted what you did unless you have the details. Share!

Thanks

Of those who are set to be released, nearly 20,000 are serving life sentences. Another 10,000 inmates were convicted for serious nonviolent offenses who have served half of their initial sentence.

Just WOW!!
