I’d definitely believe this is 100% real. My daughter has been playing since she was 7 and every year we go to compete at the state level; there are these little tiny kids that walk in and completely flatten the competition. Yes, they all happen to Asian. Which leads me to believe their parents are doing a fantastic job motivating their children...I love Tiger Mom mentality. This year I pushed my daughter and set up a strict 2 a day practice schedule and you know what...she took home the All State Trophy in 2 categories. Hard work and practice = personal success.

It's real. You people saying it's not would be best served looking inside yourself.

This is not uncommon that a child brings talents from a previous life. The being was a concert pianist and is now back to fulfill something they didn't achieve with their talent.

I haven't read all the comments in this thread and perhaps it's already been mentioned, but that's not Mozart. It's Clementi's Sonatina in D Major.

One of my children played it in our music festival a couple years ago. I love that piece.

Thanks for posting -- that little cutie is awesome.

Little Asian girl. Her parents probably drilled it into her and made her do it. Typical Asian thing to do so they can make bank off their kids when they get older.

He reckons the vid is real and that the kid was beaten for making mistakes.

I don't believe she is 3yrs old doing this. Her fingers alone would not have the strength. Remember China does per propaganda to put themselves on top. That kid is probably 10 little midget.

I feel bad for these kids. their parents must force them to practice 10 hrs a day then another 5 hrs of home work. often they are threatened with abuse and given very little rewards

some parents obsess on trying to make their kids into a prodigy, hoping they become famous and become rich.

However old she is, I'm guessing 5, she is playing that music.

I studied for 10 years, can play Chopin polonaises, Rachmaninoff preludes. I can always tell when it's faked.

The best is when they film the actor at a distance. then only show a set hands actually playing the music. She is in full view and close enough to see what notes are being played.

It's real.

We are definitely not all created equal, as some people might argue.
I teach at an elementary school and there is this incredible pressure on all of us to make all students equal. I agree they have equal rights as human being, yes, but not everyone can learn at the same pace or level.
And I also wish we taught kids how to respect or acknowledge the talents or hard work others have.

for asians to brainwash their children at three is such an accomplishment!

an asian parent i know has a son who plays the harp...or as i like to say plays what the parents paid the teacher to teach him. plagiarism at its best.

the child doesnt understand the theory behind the music so its basically garbage.

parents should have CPS make a visit.

disgusting.

im in my forties and its taken me a lifetime to understand music enough to enjoy what i learn to play for the benefit as a whole. sure some are naturally gifted...this is bullshit.

applaud it some more.

btw this thread was started by a 2 year old.

Agree with you. Some kids also become obsessed with things and if it jibes with their parents own interests AND they can be successful with it then it is fine.

Creating is another matter and apparently this cannot be taught.

I would think it comes down to something similar as this, this is merely a personal assessment:

1-5% create, 20-30% mimic at the highest level, then you have the rest. Then again, people can be very gifted at one specific thing so there is where the 1-30% lie in any given\specific ability\task.

I should add, i agree with that assessment and not if the video is 100% real as have not watched it. 3 years old seems a little young though.
