Thawing out baby back ribs for BBQ this evening.

Maybe some beans and deviled eggs,
fried okra and corn pudding.

Derby pie for dessert.

Hard to not be on a 5-0 starter today (Essential Quality). Not sure why High Motivated is not second in morning line. He has run good speed last three races and lost to Essential Quality by only a neck in the Bluegrass.

As for food and drink.

Woodford Double Oaked, some deviled eggs at a tailgate before heading to Keeneland and some burgoo.

The "Catclan".

They are the sons and daughters of:

Storm Cat was a dark bay horse with a white star and stripe on his forehead and white socks on his left feet. He was sired by Storm Bird, a son of Northern Dancer. His dam was Terlingua, an outstanding sprinter who was sired by Secretariat.

The "Catclan".

Tabasco Cat - He was best known for his performances in
1994 when he won the Preakness Stakes and the Belmont
Stakes.

Mountain Cat - As a 3 year old was on his way to
greatness, until he fractured his leg and retired. Other
excellent prodigy include Caress, BC Classic winner
Cat Thief, champions Catinca and Sweet Catomine, Desert
Stormer, Courageous Cat, Good Reward, Coolmore’s Hold
That Tiger, BC Distaff winner, Mountain Cat,
Juddmonte’s Nebraska Tornado, Newfoundland, One Cool
Cat, millionaire Raging Fever, Japanese
multimillionaire, Seeking The Dia, the fabulous
filly, Sharp Cat, BC Juvenile Fillies & Eclipse award
winner, Stormflagflying, Vision and Verse, champion
Tabasco Cat and the 2009 BC Distaff winner, Life Is
Sweet

Storm Cat - Born to greatness, he will be remembered as a
special racehorse and a magnificent stallion. On the
southeastern edge of Lexington's blue grass country,
there is a dark bay horse strolling his hillside three-
acre paddock. His name is Storm Cat. For most of the
past 15 years, he had been the most valuable horse in
the world.

American Pharoh - Triple Crown winner.
