I was never in it. Skipped that step. Went directly from trafficked to illegally adopted. No passing Go, no collecting the American dream and a McDonald's cheeseburger.

Everyone was too scared to question it just because "new mom" was Yale affiliated.

Most just chose to close their eyes and say "but you two have the same hair," as if mine weren't dyed and straightened for 12 years straight.

Then it moved onto "but the nonprofit organizations handle that."

Then of course the non-profits don't actually "handle that" because all their funding is tied up in trafficking more kids into the US, not out of it. So, "they don't have the funding." Traffic doesn't run in that direction, not even in the "do-gooder" corner.

As for the police, they're so full up on trafficking cases that, unlike in made-for-TV movies, when I went to them as a teenager, they didn't open a case. They told me they had enough illegals to deal with and I was on my own to find my parents.

By that point I was no longer in the same country as them, could only remember my mother's first name, and no longer spoke the language.

So, yeah. And I ended up in entitled land (remember - Yale affiliated), capable of speaking and writing in English to present my case clearly. If I couldn't get out, how in the living fuck is any child with less opportunity going to manage it?

Bringing awareness to the problem and arresting, prosecuting and imprisoning everyone from the cartel leader to the guy who willingly downloaded kiddie porn on his computer is the way to prevent more victims. Stopping future abductions, rapes and murders is just as important as trying to help the current victims.

Being a parent is hard. Being a parent to a child sex trafficking/sexual abuse victim is even harder. In teh US, a foster parent does not have a legal right to know the details of abuse unless the child shares with them, You don't know if the child you are bringing into your home is an arsonist, raped a sibling, witnessed a traumatic event, tried to kill herself or a family member.... You cannot be a good parent unless you know the details of the child's trauma so that you can find the right therapy and therapists inetead of the useless CPS case worker.

When one takes in a foster child, they cannot request a sex trafficking victim. If the purpose of a foster care is to help sex trafficking victims, then it is hit or miss whether hat will happen. Also, 60% of sex trafficking victims in the US are believed to have passed through the foster care system before they were trafficked.

I want the industry to end. I want compensation for the victims and for them to have access to a wide variety of therapies to fit their personal spiritual/biological/emotional needs.

I also want an end to wars, the MIC, the CIA, and the Deep State. I want nuclear power plants shut down and an end to industrial pollution.

I cannot adopt a foster child, but that doesn't mean that I have no compassion for the victims or that the issue isn't one of my roots activist causes. I share information with people in a manner that caused many of my progressive friends to understand the pedophilia rings in Washington DC. Several didn't vote for Biden because I brought attention to the issue in person and on FB. This only ends when the majority of the people become aware of the heinous acts by the minority who are controlled by the elite blood lines.

I have land that I planned to turn into a homesteading school and ecological education center and eventual community. Recently I have thought about trying to find funding to create a retreat center for the DUMB victims to introduce them to nature while bringing in special therapists who can integrate the introduction to the natural environment in a sacred spiritual/non-religious manner while finding outlets to release the pain and heal from the sexual trauma. I thought of writing to Ivanka Trump to ask for help.

At the same time, I am aware that this might be more of an idealistic fantasy because my real calling is for the education portion of my project. This has been my vision and dream that I have actively worked on for 5 years. My goal is to find green entrepreneurs who want to live, work and teach on a permaculture farm.

If a random person said, "Here is $2 million, make the center for DUMB victims," I could do it and have it built and staffed appropriately in a year or less, but it would require a continuous injection of cash to pay for the therapy, food and accommodation upkeep. This requires NGOs, government agencies and a bureaucracy in the search for donations in a world wher teh economic collapse seems imminent. If the Universe introduces me to this random stranger with $2 million to spare and wants to deal with all of the legal and funding issues, then it is a sign that is what I am meant to do. In the meantime, I am going to continue with the permaculture/business aspect because all the signs have taken me in this direction. As much as I want to do something, I am not sure that is my role, although I am always open to gifts and surprises from the Creator.

I share this because my decision to not radically change a vision I have had since 2012 because my heart strings are tugged by the thought underground victims does not mean that the issue isn't important to me.

I am not in the position to take in a foster child, but your sweeping generalization that unless we run out to adopt children, we somehow don't care about the problem is wrong. You have a good, beautiful heart. Please don't berate people who cannot live up to your solution, despite the good intentions behind it. I am glad there are people like you willing to take in foster children and treat them as your own. I wish more people would do this, but I see so many people who have not dealt with their own issues that there seems to be a dearth of potential good parents who can help a child heal from their wounds. Many are not qualified to be parents and could create more harm.

There are more than enough people out there that have the means to adopt every single child out of the system yet they aren't doing it. And that frustrates the hell out of me. And THAT is who I'm speaking to. And most don't do it because they don't want to inconvenience their lives. Well FUCK that. If you claim to care about kids then step out of your selfish self and adopt one.

It isn't just being falsely accused of molesting. When I was in the process of adopting my kids I was terrified that CPS was going to take away my bio kids because of some false accusation. I had faith in God. If you aren't a christian then I can understand you not having trust in our creator.

But once you finalize adoption you are pretty much left alone. And the risk is no different than your own bio kids.

But I did vote for Trump who has done more to break up the trafficking rings and rescue the victims than any other president. Those who voted for Biden have nothing to say about trafficking. Just keep that mouth shut.

No,they don't tell you when it is a foster child. They tell you upon adoption, but not as a foster parent. I looked into it twenty five years ago.

Secondly, all children out of the system have problems and issues.

Third, your logic is flawed. If all people capable adopt the kids out of the system then the chances of those children being trafficked are lowered.

Fourth, people (that are qualified) don't adopt out of the system for selfish reasons.

Your logic is flawed thinking that I and others like me who are adamantly opposed to sex trafficking and want justice for the victims and an end to the cartels/mafia/alphabet agencies that control it are enabling sex trafficking to exist by not running out and adopting children from the foster care system, regardless of age, health issues, finances, personal responsibilities, mental health, and existing families.

I looked into taking in foster children in two states over the course of 10 years. I didn't want CPS in my life. It was obvious in the 1990s that it was a scam and that only the worst families got the kids. I figured there was trafficking, but little did I know before the time of Google and GLP. My husband and I were stellar candidates. In Arizona, CPS told us that we would not have access to the psychiatric records or criminal records of the foster children until after time of adoption. After an initial meeting, submitting all the paperwork, and a follow up call, I asked how much was the food/housing and medical allowance. A woman probably not born in the United States told me that if I had to ask, I wasn't qualified. She tagged me for doing it for money. My husband and I had six figures combined, perfect credit, nice investment portfolio, two cars paid for, a ranch style house in a nice middle class neighborhood with lots of equity, excellent school district and 1/3 mile to the high school parking lot. We both have Master's degrees, he had an excellent job with a good company and I had flexible hours with my own business. I had superb references from a food bank for my volunteer work. No medications, no health issues and not doing it for the money, just trying to make budget when I asked the question. They blocked my telephone number. Seriously.

Regardless of your flawed logic, I care passionately about child sex trafficking even though I don't have a foster child. I live on the border of a central American country and see undocumented people of all ages walking down the road all the time. It's a serious issue. My friend set up a special camp for young teenage girls who had been trafficked and I served them many meals in my cafe. I pulled out all the stops for these girls. The youngest of all the groups was 9.

I am one person and am living my truth. Sex trafficking is beyond anything I can do to stop, but I do talk about the subject the whenever possible and appropriate. Stop wasting your time berating the people who at least try to keep the subject in the news, bringing awareness to how deep it goes. Do you think that adopting two children (and probably not for the reason of keeping them from being a CPS child trafficking statistic) absolves you from volunteering and/or donating funds to charities that help these victims? Do you lobby your Congresspeople to put an end to human trafficking? Do you write articles or make videos to expose their operations?
