Running from the cops in the 80s was not fucked up then. I did it in a car twice and on foot twice. Got away all times but on foot was so much easier as I ran then - coppers not as fast or as far.

We used to have bonfire parties in high school, I've outrun many cops in my day.

Imagine hundreds of kids scattering into the woods when the sirens and lights start going off...

It took us 2 days to find our drummer the one time lol

Anytime I find myself in a conversation with guys talking about their crazy ex-gfs, I wait, then when everyone's had their say, I tell mine.

In my 20s, I dated a gorgeous girl who I was set up with. After a couple dates, I began to see some odd things about her, and stopped calling her. Found out she'd been in a mental hospital, and had battled some drug problems. Nobody told me about that at the time, though.

3 years later, I got a phone call from the friend whose girlfriend had set me up, and he told me she had killed her parents.

Beat them both to death.

She died in prison.

After that, when a girl I was seeing did something odd, I was OUT. Been married now for 25 years.

My daughter almost killed me by poisoning my food.

What a time to be alive. Today, they would gps your phone, flir you from above, taze you or just shoot you.

I had a crazy ex that contacted my high school sweetheart and went out to lunch with her.

She was amazing in bed, but damn...

Not worth it at all.

Haha, I remember hiding behind trees while they shone their lights and taunted us lol.

My sister was murdered in a sacrifice for my father and brothers and the community at large. They killed another sister in law as well years later in an "accident". Got away with it no issues not even investigations like there are today. They tried to suicide me my entire life, my brother once even gave me the number of an old high school friend and told me he wanted me to call him if I was ever in town. I did, and he had me drive all the way to Jacksonville beach to meet him in a bar, ony to berate and bully me and ask why I was wasting his time meeting him. I was in total shock! This type of thing happened over the years a few times until I figured it out. 

My dad once bragged he raped me as a newborn about 5 days old and said I liked it. I think that has to be about the worst thing. My mother left me the original hospital records when she died and I read them and that how I found out I had to be returned to the hospital for 10 days because I went into shock and wouldn't take in nutrition.  She lied all my life and said I couldn't suckel for some reason, a total lie. I was supposed to die but my mother freaked out and decided she couldn't do it, yet. It got easier for her as I got older. to abuse me, but I didn't know it was abuse. When you're raised in one of these esotaric demonic Masonic homes, you don't know what normal is.

I know a guy that loved to go to establishments, and to peoples parties... and would shit in the upper part of the toilet. He really prided himself on this... I'm guessing the plumber wasn't too keen on these calls.

I have a friend that was into meth a long time ago, and he and his friend tried to kill a dude with a claw hammer, but he lived. They both did prison time, and now he's sober and doing well for himself.

On a side note related to the friend with a hammer... his ex wife divorced him while he was in prison... and started to frequent BDSM forums... met a dude in Wisconsin that was an ex cop. From what the story read, he had another girl with him as well, and he killed both of them, and chopped them up, and put them in a suitcase, and left them on the side of the road.

My friend had about 6 kids with this woman, and I ran into him shortly after he was out of prison, and his ex wife had been found... it was pretty tough on him and his kids. He is a pretty upstanding dude now.

Geez man.. we used to call that "upper-decking".

Kids in my high school used to shit in the fucking hand-pump soap dispensers... so literally no one in their right mind washed their hands at school.

Really, it wasn't us kids who were REALLY fucked up ... it was the COPS.

And grownups in general.

I have some sympathy for kids with cops because of my childhood.

Once, when I was fifteen, we were drinking in the woods. My 17 year old girlfriend was driving her sister's Camaro. We ad pulled in last, and eventually, a police cruiser pulled in, seeing the humongous fire.

I was LIT. We all were.

So of course, the two cops made us pour out all the beer/boone's farm and give them all the weed so they could bring it home to their wives.

And we all pulled out.

Except my friend and I who were last in line, bottomed out with the Camaro, and the wheels were spinning and we were stuck.

Remember I was 15, she was 17 and licensed to drive for like a month, and the drinking age was 21.

So the cops ... not only did they call us a police tow free of charge ...

they pulled us out then followed us home, went into the house and LIED TO HER MOTHER, telling her they saw us stuck on the road after we popped a U-turn ...

of course we were relieved, but we then had to dodge those two grown men who gave us their cards and told us to page them any time we need them ... for several years ... because every time we saw them they wanted to "hang out".

Teenage girls see it all, really. I'd trust what they say over what an authority figure says about almost any situation. They know who the molesters and drug dealers and thieves are more than anyone for sure.

My family once stayed at a cheap motel near Houghton and Hancock in the UP. We were on a road trip up to Copper Harbor, I was about 14, with my 3 younger brothers. We were hanging around an overgrown, rusted out swing set in the front lawn area. The motel owner’s kid came out and said hi. “You wanna see something cool?”, he asked. I said “sure, I guess.” He proceeded to pick up a large toad from the grass, pull a large pair of scissors out of his pocket, and cut the toad in half right up the middle. I was like wtf and noped out back to my parents room.

A friend of mine was in a large cannabis plot on Texada island when the RCMP chopper came in. He and his 2 buddies escaped, but they found the chopper. So 'Cosmo' (not sure of his real name even) grabbed the pilots helmet and placed it on a rock, close enough away to be visible. The rCMP had to call in a crew of mechanics to make sure the chopper was safe to fly thinking that whoever moved the helmet, may have cut a wire.

This thread reminds me of a zine my friend and I were going to print called 'Mangled: Stories of Stupidity' and get people to write in stories such as the above. we never got around to it being busy young men, but it probably would have worked. SOme of the BC Bud stories i've heard are nuts. Including running into CCP soldiers in out of the way places near the US Border, seemingly living in old mines or caves.

I hear that.

Someone who I MUST know had an affair with the local parish priest.

No one would know it happened, except some SINGLE 30-something woman is SUING the local parish for damages because she fucked the priest.

There are only so many single 30 something women in the parish. I know them all.
