Grain market limit up today- inflation here we come

Nothing that a rate hike by the FED wouldn't fix

All higher commodity prices will be passed on to the consumer. Expect a lot of food prices to double in the next few months.

It's almost like the compromised congress is passing 1.8 trillion dollar spending bills every few weeks...

And it's not just food. Lumber, steel and most everything for a growing economy are already jumping in price and in short supply.

NDfarmer, although I disagree with your politics, I am an admirer of you from afar. I appreciate you letting us know about the situation on the commodities.

Do you think this year's fall harvest will be average? If our summertime will be drought-like I suppose the prices would naturally go up. But if the weather is good through the spring to late summer, then the markets should not fluctuate too much. BUT if the farmers are tired of getting screwed through higher fuel prices and lower sale prices and then don't plant enough acreage, I can see the prices of wholesale grains rocketing upwards.
