I Stopped Wearing My Mask As Form of Protest

They just changed the guidelines. Now you have to wear one to protest.

I have NEVER wore a mask and have only been questioned at a few stores; I just ignored them and they never tracked me down (my wife gets more hassled but she radiates a little caring). Yes, I get the "zombie stare" sometimes, but they are just brainless zombies, so F em.

Also in CO and just last week my wife and I started not wearing masks in stores if we were without kids. We still wear them when we have our toddler with us because tbh I'm afraid someone will call the government kidnappers on us.

I started thanking people for not wearing their masks. I was at a truck stop today and there was about 30% of people there that weren't masked up. It was fantastic.

Yes! I get that, today I got the silent nod of respect from other people refusing to mask up. It's a surreal feeling. Truckers huh? I would naturally think they are the 'against the grain' type, that sounds right!

I know what you mean about having to do both.. at my work, I basically don't have the luxury to begin protesting the mask rule at work. Which, I know seems counterintuitive to the whole philosophy but, wearing a mask at work is losing the battle, however not wearing one in public areas and shopping is the way to win the war.

I think so too. I think at least 90% of people don't want to wear a mask, but they think everyone else is so they have to, thus everyone is walking around doing something they don't want to do and thinking they're the only one who feels that way so they pretend they don't mind.

When people see more and more of each other unmasking, it'll organically go away!

I was in your state and never wore a mask. Grocery employees just followed me around and I pulled my shirt up at the dispensary. Thanks for protesting a year too late.

I was attacked today by a rabid MASKER
coming through the door of Walmart.
She said,
"YOU ARE STILL REQUIRED to wear a mask in Walmart".

I figured I'd jerk her around a little.

I said,
"No, I'm not."

Her face got all flushed.

She said,
"Oh yes you are!"

I said,
"Oh no I'm not"

after about 4 rounds of this her face was
BEET RED. People are walking by, some with masks,
some not, looking at us curiously.

I smiled at her, and just walked into the store.
I thought her head was going to explode.

As I left the store, I walked by her closely
in case she wanted to take a shot at me.
(I thought I owed her that much)

She said, "Thank you for shopping Walmart!"
Then saw that it was I, still no mask,
and I got the stink eye.

I have to say I’m pretty proud of where I live in Oklahoma, I haven’t had to wear a mask yet. I went back to my home state of Montana last fall, Butte Montana, and I had to go into a Walmart. The lady at the door told me I had to wear a mask when I was walking inside, but I just did like we do in Oklahoma, I smiled at her and kept on walking. Here in Oklahoma that would be the end of it, but she followed me in the store and told me two more times I had to wear a mask. I didn’t have one and she just stared at me, and I just stared back. I told her I didn’t have a mask and she just continued staring at me. So I decided we weren’t getting anywhere and I continued walking into the store. She continued to follow me and told me again that I would have to put on a mask. I told her if she was asking me to leave the store I would leave but I would not wear a mask. She said, “I didn’t tell you you had to leave sir, you just have to wear a mask”

I tell you I was getting nowhere with this bitch, so I just turned around and continued walking. She gave up and shouted after me “I hope no one checks you out“. I immediately thought, boom bitch, self check out! I got my stuff and went through the self check out, as I was walking out the door with my stuff I held up my bag to show her I was able to get through the checkout process, and as I walked by I sneered in her face “oh you must be so disappointed“. She yelled back to me “I hope you get sick“

While that was unpleasant, what truly disgusted me was the attitude of the people in the store. My fellow Montanans, people I thought were true blue American conservatives, they looked at me like maybe I was walking through the store naked holding a shotgun. They just couldn’t fucking believe what they were seeing. That told me a lot, it told me that even little old me had balls bigger than most people I considered true Montanans. It told me that nobody else had the courage to do it around there. Fuck you fuckers from Butte and in the western half of the state, you’re all pussy ass cucks and should be ashamed, you’re no Montanans, you’re cowardly pussies.

I was glad to get back to Oklahoma, where real men live. I have to be ashamed call Montana my home state anymore. Man am I ashamed of you pussies.

I don’t know why sometimes it says I’m from Canada when I’m not logged in.... sometimes it puts me in the USA, sometimes it says I’m in Canada, it must have something to do with my Internet provider but it drives me bonkers.

It's crazy that we are at this point, but let me tell you, you are making a difference! I am certain of it.

Where in Montana was this, because to give you an idea how dumb Colorado had been about covid since the start.. in September and then again around November last year, I visited deer lodge Montana and I think billings ( middle of nowhere ) and no one really seemed to cared there, I was the only one at a liquor store wearing a mask lol.. then, I was in Cody Wyoming and it was similar experience. I really felt like Montana and Wyoming were way more lax ( their people there at least ) than anywhere in Colorado.

That's a good tactic, glad to hear you handled it well. I think there will be a shock factor for alot of people at first as more and more people refuse to mask... after all, the media is still lying to everyone and they are believing it.
But once no one is wearing a mask at all, there will not be much that can be done!

We Are a good species that can do the right thing for ourselves and the planet. I believe that means we can rise above the plandemic first.
