I may even paint it a new color. My grill looks like this one but I use charcoal instead. I took off the knobs and put a piece of glass over that area to lay stuff on. https://imgur.com/mrGAcOk |

I wheeled my grill across the street from a church that was getting rid of it and I've been upgrading it each year. Old gas grills make great charcoal grills. |

Yes they do I've picked parts off of other grills being thrown out to make mine better. I've got that nice thick cast iron grill now instead of that cheap stainless steel wiry kind. You have to keep up with rust control though. Oil it a lot. |

Quoting: Doctor Congo Dang, I was just at the grocery and forgot to get some corn on the cob. I'm alone for the week so I just use my small charcoal grill. Just me, the dog and the two cats. Last time I tried to get corn on the cob, the store didn't even have any. My Mexican neighbors from years ago told me to just put the corn still in the husk on the grill. No prep needed. You open it up and it's steaming. They added mayo and salt, I prefer butter with salt and pepper. |

If not, they sell these ready to grill vegetable kits. I had one with potatoes and onions that was good. I just ate them off the grill with a fork. I put them on the side with the non-stick griddle. I just had to move a few coals over to the right side. I always cook with the majority of coal on the left side and keep the right side cooler. |

I always cook one thing at a time. That way they come out perfect each time. I'll cook a cheeseburger to perfection and then start to toast the buns right before it comes off the grill. Then I add my ketchup and eat it standing right there. Spilling ketchup onto the ground like a man. |

The rest of the week looks rainy. Today is the only nice day this week and I get off around 4:30. Plenty of time to make a store run and grill out before the sun goes down. |

I finish the corn directly on the grill which will burn off all the corn pubic hairs. I like just a little char on kernels. Then lots of butter and a little sea salt. Dang it, the nearest grocery is a 35 minute drive one way. And all my frozen corn from last year is gone, it was silver queen as usual. |

My car is out of commission so I get a lot of exercise these days. I'm actually going to build a trailer for my bike. It's going to be hilarious. |

They are specialized to cook things on skewers. Watching a youtube about them. Quoting: Doctor Congo I made a small grill out of a large cast iron kettle. I want to drill holes in at some point for airflow. It's mainly for travel but it weighs a ton. Wouldn't want it in my backpack.. |
