That means the 1100 lb steer is left in the field by the farmer hoping that prices rise. It’s a beef pipeline problem which will eventually be solved when the illegals are allowed to go back to work. Which begs, why would they want to work if uncle joe is giving them a monthly check to sit at home? Last Edited by docsquat on 04/26/2021 08:16 AM Purity of Essence |

I Love God, Jesus, good people, and the U.S.A. the way the Framers signed the Constitution and Bill of Rights. In my real world life I don't have a problem with standing up to those with solid evidence of corruption from either side, of any issue or place. Many are they in this world that need to be rooted out. That makes me a target to be destroyed by very powerful people, I understand this. At some point we have to stand up for what is right before God. I have done this, lived this way, and will continue to do so till they finish me off or I croak of natural causes. |

Wonderful but understand most of the population lives in big cities with no way to do that. I would love farm fresh eggs....I don't eat meat..so that is out for me.. but in the event of severe egg and possible dairy shortage.. I have some stock of canned meats.. to add to my beans or whatever... for protein. if there is a shortage of cows.. there will be shortages of dairy products. I don't like milk.. I make my own veggie milk but I do love yogurt and cheese. |

The previous poster that mentioned labor shortages is dead on so these guys are very busy. There is a great site and app for finding processors at [link to fieldtofreezer.com (secure)] Good luck! And this is the fault of human bad management.. the soil sucks because it is not replaced with cow poo. etc... etc. They know this in India... and a man named Rudolf Steiner taught the world on agriculture and nobody paid a wit about it. you must incorporate animal waste into the soil and certain plants... where does all the animal manure go from our feed lots and all that? and I do hope you who farm animals..put their manure into your fields on which they may feed. |

I can buy whole fryer chickens day in and day out, but finding packages of individual parts is NO - no people to do the work. LOTS of jobs here, but folks make more on the dole, so the jobs sit unfilled. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 78221947 United States 04/26/2021 08:44 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Last year china bought all the grain. Our silos are empty now as prices are skyrocketing they are going to sell it back to us and we will pay the asking price or our cattle will starve. All at the beginning of a solar grand minimum. Stocked up on canned meat last year reading about that. Now here it is. I get my beef from Australia, it's all wagyu, selectively bred and meticulous records kept. Never had an off pack of meat from them. Ever. Get it shipped in on dry ice for $9.49 a pound. Just ordered another 100lb to stack into the ac/dc freezer with solar backup. Hamburger meat from the usa isn't comparable. The quality is absolutely insane from the wagyu. Literally no american cow has ever tasted this juicy and remained consistent. That's because most american beef is from china and brazil while we export our top cut. You can get around this supply chain situation for the moment by utilizing restaurant supply chains. Go to restaurant depot or another bulk specialty merchandiser for your prep needs. I will never enter a Wal-Mart again. I haven't stepped foot into a grocery in over a year. Keep your prions amongst yourselves. We can make this happen quick if everyone just gets their shots. Most people are beyond useless, and the world would be better without them, this will be good for humanity. As a transhumanist, I approve. Stack the 3 B's and have a plan to avoid thermal and infra-red and you are good. Personally I have an IR laser that is so powerful it will melt a camera ccd from 1/4 mile or blind a person anywhere from temporary at a half mile to permanently within 1500ft. The best part is it's invisible to the naked eye. Imagine that, you chase someone and they point something at you then the world goes white. Their face is the last image you will ever see. Come and get it if you think it's worth it. Bring your drones and robots and setup your camera control grid. I will blind the whole system to move freely. Just a nobody that wants to be left alone. |
