How does life look so much more real when I'm drunk?

a glass of wine enough to get is a buzz is all you need, wine lowers the ego, the sense of clarity you recieve is from begin able to hear your inner voice which is drowned out by the fakeness around you.

getting drunk defeats the purpose of alchohol. IF you get drunk you wont benefit from the clarity but instead drown while your troubles swim.

Something went seriously wrong before you were 3 years old.

I just want to say how I am happy I’m alive and have so much love and blessings in my life. Now I also want to say how sad I am that a seven year old’s body was riddled with bullets in Chicago. How sad I am that people are fighting because of skin color. How politicians help trigger race baiting fights. Everyone wants the same things in life. Homes, jobs, security and prosperity for our families. Anything else is evil attacking us. We must unite and stick together. Don’t let them divide us any longer. Wake up and unite. May God bless us and surround us with his protection.

P.S. I am not vaccinated. Not planning on it either. Just wanted to say what I wanted to for once. I love life. Not letting anyone take that from me! Everyone say want you want!! Go ahead. Let it out! It feels good!

-Quit cold turkey
-Get help

I force myself to drink in these trying times. I wonder if there is a difference between you and I?

I don't want help if help means being just as cold as "them"

smoke some pot. you still have control and you don't feel like one of "them" i guess.

lost my wife to liver failure. being an alcoholic and falling down on your liver will kill you within a month.

she was on her journey to get of it, that is the saddest thing about it.

Everything in moderation. Excess is a problem.

was carrying a box of books. she stumbled because she was either drunk or the effects. hit her right side with the corner of the box. long story.

alcoholism is watching someone commit slow motion suicide. there should be somehow as a spouse or next of kin order in family court to get them help. same with drugs.

it sometimes takes a few times for people to come around.
my wife sober was the most caring wonderful person. drunk; sometimes I would call my parents for help, it would be like she was possessed.

I am not sure the damage caused. She Had the shitiest doctor. It happens with alcoholics. They see them in a different light. I have not requested the medical documents. Don't want or need. Doctor was fired from hospital less than a year later. I was one of the complainants against him. Not that she passed away but how it was handled. In another state would have had him on the hook for malpractice. here they protect doctors heavily. one of our states biggest industries is medical.

It doesn’t. It just makes it more tolerable.
