the other is the one who is my keyboard hog. this one is small enough to sit on me. the tom is huge but tries to anyhow so the computer is the next best option.

LmAo on this thread (Bruce Jenners "cat" made me bust open lol!! :D), thank you OP :)-I came to say that yeah, I've done that before lol, but only when needed and only hard enough to make my point (and make their eyes go all wide and shit lol-point made ;)

But as a lifelong cat owner with too many sad stories, my current one, "Cookie"-which extends to "Cookie Monster", then to "The Monster" when she's bad lol <I had the door open one day cuz my daughter was out watering the plants in front of my apt-which is directly in front of the stairs and I came running out in a panic asking my daughter "Have you seen the MONSTER? Because I put food out and saw nothing!" and the elderly woman walking up the stairs turned with her eyes WIDE open and looked at us like we were NUTS! Lolol :D>

But I digress, she's a trooper-moving from SWFL to Portland, OR-then QUICKLY moving to AZ 2 months later (2015-Yeah, I got out JUST in time, smh)-on the plane in a carrier made for a chiuawah all of those hours and made not a peep. But she is a dogcat. Plays fetch (I throw tiny sponge balls to ricochet off the wall in front of me, into the living room and she takes off). And I swear to God, had I not been laying right next to her, I would've NEVER heard it, but she let out a really low, guttural growl because someone was near my front door. I thought I was going bonkers, until she did it again months later! Lol, smh, crazy.

AND she's my only second cat ever to be a lap cat. I am in heaven! Lol. So, thanks for this thread, really great Saturday morning, much needed laughter thread.

Oh, well it's a very simple hard and fast rule that's been in place since the dawn of time; understood by all creatures and learned VERY quickly:

"Don't bite the hand that feeds"

Any animal of mine that inflicted physical harm on me or my family, which includes young children, would learn very quickly where it's food comes from, and the type of affection that I and my family prefer.

Otherwise, there is always a constantly emptying freezer on the back porch, or a quietly sourced Chinese restaurant nearby in the city...

EDIT:

I also find that the other animals on the farm don't ask WHERE or WHAT their dinner comes from.
