The researchers state that social distancing doesn’t really play too much into the transmission of Covid. They also said that wearing a mask only protects against larger droplets (who would’ve guessed), and that they’re not exactly that effective indoors. And they pretty much said it’s moronic to social distance and wear a mask outdoors. The most effective method of preventing transmission is ventilation and airflow. Oh, the best part, they destroyed the fearmongering that’s been pushed on us by the WHO and CDC.

Here at GLP, we pretty much knew all of this due to something called common sense, but at least it’s on the books now and maybe we can start moving away from the madness.

That is not entirely what the article is saying.

Then please, enlighten us. I gave my synopsis of what I gleaned from the article to the best of my ability.

You disputed what I said without giving a real argument. If I’m wrong about something, I’ll readily admit it.

It never was to prevent the spread of the virus.
It was always about influencing human behavior and making them aware of the "situation" all the time.

If you would put alarm lights on every Covid-positive person, you may encounter only a few of them every week.
Now, however, you feel clappaeverybody is infected because of the facemasks all around you and social distancing signs, arrows and placemarks.

Pavlov's dog.

Bell rings every time food is given, the dog salivates.
When food is taken away, the dog continues to salivate
whenever the bell rings. Psychological conditioning 101.

Analogy:

Wear mask (bell), because of the virus (food).
See mask = be afraid (salivate) of the virus (food).
Now virus (food) is gone.
Keep wearing / seeing masks (ringing bells) = stay afraid (keep salivating)

Fear conditioning 101.

The ACTUAL science says:

MASKS DON'T WORK
SOCIAL DISTANCING DOESN'T WORK
LOCKDOWNS DON'T WORK

From what I read their conclusion said from 6 to 60 feet makes no difference, what does make a difference is wearing a mask and limiting indoor exposure time as well as the air filtration and circulation rate of the enclosed space.

Meaning you are as likely to contact the Virus from 60 feet as easily as 6 feet.

I like this study much better.

Re: New MIT Study: Social Distancing doesn’t work
You're right that the study does say that social distancing probably isn't that effective but it also clearly states that mask wearing is and is the biggest reason social distancing isn't a big deal. Wearing masks prevents the large droplets from spreading to people in your immediate vicinity.

I feel like a lot of people here are going to ignore that part and just take from this article that's both masks and social distancing aren't effective.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77740839

That's right. You have to read the whole article to see that they're promoting masks.

Maybe MIT should publish a study on the existence of "covid".

Oh that's right, MIT is in on it!

This is what you call controlled opposition, a year after the plandemic has done its social, economic, and with with half the population of America jabbed, health damage.

Apparently MIT believes it will rise up to a reputation out of the ashes.
 Quoting: HarMegiddo

Agreed, too little too late from MIT.

They wait until after millions of people are vaccinated and shedding to say it's okay for people to be close to each other again.

Meanwhile, people who've been sounding the alarm all along are now saying that the unvaxxed need to stay away from the vaxxed.

this study just means Do Not stay indoors with any unvaccinated people, mask or not, because the virus will spread to all parts of a still air enclosed space. Fans help too.
