Yep, even concealable under a jacket. Nobody would suspect you are carrying except maybe an LEO. Looks like something a tourist would have.

On the other hand carrying a purse would make concealed carry of a large caliber handgun more comfortable and convenient

sling packs aren't purses. The military even uses them.

A lot of EMT and LEO people call them EDC bags. Every day Carry bags, they usually store medical kit, food, multitool and a handgun.

A lot of people in the city use these and I cant blame them. I wouldn't want to be unarmed anywhere in a city these days.

I have never worn women's clothes or ever had the slightest desire to. But it's always struck me as extremely messed up that men can't carry bags. I have no idea how women got a monopoly on carrying things in bags, while men were relegated to stuffing their pockets like complete schmucks. As if men don't have stuff that they might occasionally need a bag to carry. Before pockets were a thing, men carried bags all the time.

And used to be, a woman was required to have a purse at all times, so at least you could make your girl carry your stuff if you didn't have the pocket space. But now they can leave the purse at home and carry a wallet in their pocket just like a dude. So now you can't even be confident that your girl will have her purse if you need her to carry something for you.

It's an unfair double standard. Amongst many unfair double standards that women enjoy.

Jeez, I bet the ATF is shitting their pants over that one.

There are other ways to carry stuff, a briefcase, backpack, tote bag, duffel bag, even a lunchbox, or as one creative poster mentioned, a camera bag.

Anything except a purse.

You'll never find anything in your purse anyway. Trust me, I know. I've probably wasted a year of my life on just rummaging through my purse.

actually technically a purse is a small moneybag carried in a pocket, usually by men. AT least thats what they used to be.

Today a purse is a ladys handbag.

If you think about it though, a purse would be convenient

You could carry your pistol and a few extra mags, and maybe even a short barreled rifle.

An empty camera bag, makes you seem artistic to the ladies. A backpack makes you look rugged. Alot of options for men beyond women's styles.

that is certainly legally owned. people buy the stamp, they own full autos, suppressors, machine guns, you name it.

must be like women in this regard, I own at least a dozen different packs and most of the time I go out the door with one on me.

Ive had my purse stolen and so have my friends, so I don't carry a purse anymore, but my husband does. It's a plain, leather masculine style.
