Different races and cultures mix in a specialized area where you can get food and entertainment. Food court. Game stop. Movies. Etc...I think we're right before collapse but around the time Christ touched down. Strange times to some. I'm me |

Happy in Nature
User ID: 80173026 Nicaragua 04/27/2021 03:14 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I would turn the atrium in a mall into hydroponic garden (convert parking lots into farmland using hemp for first three crops to pull toxins from the soil), convert the stores into housing and a create an artist space/studios, theater, classrooms, cafes, etc. in the middle of an indoor garden. It would be accessible to to the public for an outside revenue stream. Kind of a horticulture-artist co-op in a mall turned eco-village. I have thought about this for years. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 77983873 United States 04/27/2021 03:21 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | 1956 - THE FIRST MALL IN AMERICA "SOUTHDALE" IN MINNY-SOETA! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78255182 (WHEN AMERICA WAS WHITE) When I was a very small girl, my mom would take me to this mall. I was always enthralled by the little garden restaurant and the large bird cage indoors. I pestered my mom so bad to see those birds one time she threatened to spank me in front of everybody - back in those days parents did that. That mall always seemed such a big, bright magical place - especially in winter with all the indoor plants. |

Some of the stores originally were built freestanding. Sales are off the chart. My area is 167% over last year and that year too was 183% over the year before that. My stock is returning 64% rate of return over the last quarter. It's about being a destination business vs. impulse. Macys lost the Ralph Lauren/Polo account. Belks will be filing bankruptcy. Von Maur lost the Loreal account (most all cosmetics/fragrances). We'll likely own the destination department store business. Market contraction...we'll own the remainder. |
