It’s about vaccine doses administered, not percentage of vaccinated people, and as such is very misleading. A number of people have had the second dose of one or the other which skews the numbers upwards and gives the impression 66% of Americans have been vaccinated. Sneaky NYT twisting the truth as per usual.
