WTH? NYPD officer arrested for throwing slipper at sister during dispute

Really?? An arrest???

My sister throws a slipper at me, I pick up the slipper and slap her around with it. Then dad yells at us both. We stop cat fighting, cause dad is scary.

I remember when my dad threw a shoe at me. I was sitting in the kitchen on a chair being a brat. Complaining about something. I saw the shoe coming at me, so I ducked, and it went flying out the window, breaking the window.

You can be arrested for anything someone calls the cops on you for. Anything. As long as you call the cops first.

Now she has to get a lawyer. They can't be cheap in NYC. These stupid disputes can cause people to go broke defending themselves.

In New York City and Long Island, most law firms will charge $50-$125 in 6-minute or 15-minute blocks of time ($300-$1,000/hour). If a secretary calls the court and waits on hold for 20 minutes, it shows up on the final bill as a block of time, rounded up.

But men are not protecting families like they used to. Like that dad was kicking the other black girl when his 16 year old was shot to death by cops while trying to stab the other girl. What kind of trash father joins in in a girl fight and doesn't tell his daughter to stay inside and call the police?

I remember very few arguments among my peers after school or on the playground when I was growing up, but I never saw physical fights, especially with dads or moms involved! We never saw police involved.

My dad was not violent. He was a good, hard working guy, but that day he lost it. He was so damn mad that he broke the window. lol
