So, had the cop hesitated and the other girl was stabbed and killed, it's the cop's fault.

If the cop utilized a non-lethal means to try and control the situation and the girl was killed anyway, cop's fault.

Had the people in the hood not wanted a police officer to intervene, they shouldn't have called 911.

Either way, it's a lose-lose situation for cops. My advice would simply be to stop responding to calls from the hood.

I think there would be lot fewer killings. Cops dont prevent crime, and anyone who has any experience with them will tell you the only thing that can be gained by calling them is making things worst for everyone involved.

Did you know that when psychologists do a detailed psyche profile on a seasoned police officer, it is indistinguishable from that of a violent criminal offender?

My guess is if there were any civilian videos of this event they wouldn't have tried the "she had a knife" shit.

I have my doubts, and I have good reasons.

I hope one surfaces, I bet my instinct is right. Why would the person who was attacked by the girl with the alleged knife say she didn't have one?

That's is what peaked my suspicions, that and the way the cops original claims that she attacked an officer with a knife differed from the video they released.
My guess is they couldn't fake that much, but they could put a knife in her hand.

I don't know the term but I saw a bunch of fights in bars in the 80s and the long neck bottle would get broken and it was on...

Later when I lived in a dangerous hood which had been lovely before CRACK I started carrying a Barq's root beer bottle with me because they could become a formidable weapon in a second and it wasn't illegal to carry that around. Luckily I didn't have to use it.

A few years ago a martial arts guy told me to keep chopsticks in my hair and showed me how to use them - up nose, eyes, throat, to protect myself. I luckily don't have to live that way anymore and I am in a rural area but when I was in the city I had to think like that. I had a Kabar in the car next to me all the time because of all the carjackings. It was ridiculous. I spent a day with my stepson in the woods literally chopping trees down with it in one swoop, so I knew I could cut someone's arm off if they messed with me.

Did I mention I am a girl? Once I had that knife with me ALL THE TIME I wasn't afraid of anyone because you would never look at me and think I was armed or capable of that.
