For many its just to go through life learning to trust. And once you have learnt to trust...you are ready. And he just takes you home one day or night. No fanfare...no crowds...nothing spectacular.. Just here one day...gone home the next. Our real usefulness is NOT here on this earth. Not at this time. Its whats after our training here is done that its all been about. The greatest will be the least. The least...the greatest. |

Was short 500 bucks for rent once 10 years ago. Me and my young daughter were about to be turned out into the streets. So I said to her "lets pray for the money". She was 11 at the time. We stood in the backyard and simply asked God for the money. Next morning she comes running into the house with a plain envelope full of fresh new cash. Exactly 500 dollars. No note or name...just a plain white envelope with 500 bucks in it. She was so excited. .she found it out on our driveway right beside the car. Explain that? And that was just ONE of MANY moments like that in the last 30 years. |

People who don't have faith in God miss actions He performs in their lives and / or attribute those actions to whatever else it is they worship in His place. It's sad, really, when you think about it. Anonymous Coward User ID: 78321357 United States 04/21/2021 11:55 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | God has taught me so many important things in my life on this earth. One of the most important is to always trust in Him. Quoting: BoatyMcBoatface Clawing my way up from toil, hardship and nothing, to my place now, has taught me that even moreso. I didn't accomplish these things myself: God brought me here for His purposes, not mine. When I found a plumbing problem in my basement after having to pay for car repair, and thinking about the other expenses I have to spend in the future for other maintenance I had to take care of, I said to God: "I can't afford this too!" Three days later, God gave me an unexpected bonus that covered all of it. God has never let me down. Even on the smallest things that seem stupid. God is always right there for me. The more I find my faith in God, the more I expect that I will simply give in to His will and pass out of this reality into His. Despite all of my flaws and self-judgement, self-critique. God will just take me when He decides to do that. And I am okay with that. That is a beautiful testament OP |

It was another wound, I told God I do not know how to do any of this (life).. then my VA benefits were approved, twice. I had great help from local services because of a special person that cared. I have asked Jesus and the Holy Spirit to walk and guide me. There is some purpose of what I have gone through. Even just to give hope to others. God has blessed me greatly. Many people would look at my life and disagree. I was at that point. However I am still blessed. I have his Grace. It was always there. |
