No, I don't think that the "oppressed" groups understand that they aren't being oppressed at all. They only know their imagined "lived experience" in which every glance, every question, each word, kind or angry, no matter how deserved, is a sign of "White Supremacy".

The truly sick part is that these other groups honestly DO think that white people are superior to them. Especially black folk.

It isn't the truth, but it is where their real hatred comes from. They see people doing well, working hard and bothering to care about the world and can't understand why not doing those same things (even though they totally can) isn't working the same way.

The real horror here is that of late, the last decade or so, this hate movement by these minority groups has been led by self-hating white people.

Ones who, in all honesty, don't think that minorities are capable of operating well in a fair world. This is ridiculous, but it is the heart of their hatred. They are, in their own way, the "great white saviors" planning to lift up those they think of as ignorant and too lacking to succeed in the world.

When push comes to shove they are Christian, American, and feel like they are on the same team as other Christian Americans.

Their families have been here for hundreds of years, too.

They served in the wars, too.

It hurts their hearts to experience pure, raw racism directed against them when it happens.

They don't care what the Indians or Mexicans think about them.

They care what AMERICA thinks.

Most black people's families have been here longer than half my family, Irish and Germans who came in the 1800s.

At the very least, they are as American as apple pie.

I’ve never had a problem with people based on race. Lately though, I feel like some people are trying to blame me, a white guy, born in 1968 for slavery and other atrocities from 100’s of years ago that I had nothing to do with.

I had no white privilege, grew up poor, lived in a train car in my uncles back yard at one point when I was 5-7.

Joined military, learned some skills, went to school. Now I live lush. Worked since I was 13.

If there is systemic Racism, I rarely see it in the south except on TV.

I am not going to stand here quietly and be punished for things done by people 100’s of years ago.

I'm a Londoner who emigrated to Singapore and Thailand. I had no idea black people were not welcome in those countries. You hardly see any black people at all and the ones you see are stared at quite openly (especially in Thailand).
When my children were very young I bought baby dolls and I bought both black and white baby dolls. At the time I had a Thai foster child living with me (in Singapore) and she was absolutely horrified that I had bought a black baby doll. She was 7 years old and in her broken English she said something like "what? Why you want this in house"? She couldn't even bring herself to touch it, despite my own children playing with all the baby dolls equally.
Now with Covid, Thailand has taken to banning the whole of Africa despite the new strain being from South Africa only.
But then again racism here also extends to other Asian racists. I actually have cried at how Chinese Singaporean families treat their Filipino maids! Terrible!

Everybody hates everybody else.

the problem is, you never hear about black people being racist... which i would contest, there are more racist black people than white. White people cant even drive through some black neighborhoods, without getting attacked.

After looking at this group, I think whites have rose colored glasses on. Everyone else sees problems, of course it just their own experiences.
