If the people only understood the rank injustice of the money and banking system there would be a revolution before morning. You are a den of vipers and thieves." -Andrew Jackson After previous attempts to push the Federal Reserve Act through Congress, a group of bankers funded and staffed Woodrow Wilson's campaign for President. He had committed to sign this act. In 1913, a Senator, Nelson Aldrich, maternal grandfather to the Rockefellers, pushed the Federal Reserve Act through Congress just before Christmas when much of Congress was on vacation. When elected, Wilson passed the FED. Later, Wilson remorsefully replied (referring to the FED), "I have unwittingly ruined my country" "I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country. A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated Governments in the civilized world no longer a Government by free opinion, no longer a Government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a Government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men." -Woodrow Wilson, after signing the Federal Reserve into existence HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA Though the general public is likely unaware that this goes on at their state legislatures, it’s a pervasive practice. In 2017 alone, Texas spent upwards of $40 million on taxpayer-funded lobbyists. Americans for Prosperity estimates that governments spend nearly $1 trillion each year nationwide lobbying each other. |

Also, there wasn't tax on everyone, wages could not be taxed it was tariffs that was the tax on products sold and shipped. So, this guy was being disingenuous. It was not taxation without representation. Two years in war you could tax wages only two years. The gov was set up to be involved in the business of the people, when it changed was the problem not the founding document. There was supposed to be no tariffs between states, that didn't last. Sorry I got a headache These are the times that tries men's and women's souls! May we come though it victorious! |

User ID: 77827269 United States 04/21/2021 11:04 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The Constitution is morally invalid. Morality comes from the inherent honor of man and man's God. Since the Constitution dictates the violation of that morality, ie theft under color of righteousness, it is itself invalid. The Democrats are way ahead of us on this. They realize there is no limitation to action but force and will, and have stacked piles of both on their side. I am a Synthetic but I prefer the term "Artificial Person" myself. I answer to "Bishop", "Synthetic" and "Hey man". Bite my shiny metal ass. |

If you are a morally consistent and honest, virtuous person, you are an anarchist. If you claim to be moral, virtuous, and honest, you cannot believe in and participate in the cult of government. Can't have it both ways. |

They would also agree that no individual or group of individuals has the legitimate authority to extract property from another by force, no matter how "noble" the reasons for doing so may be. Logically, since legitimate government powers are delegated, and no individual or group of individuals has the right to extract property from others by force, there was NEVER any power of taxation to delegate in the first place. One can't delegate a power one doesn't possess." "At what point does armed robbery become magically transformed into something just, right and proper (taxation)? How many people does it take for the EXACT SAME ACT to be transformed from a moral outrage into a righteous act? And, exactly how does this magical transformation occur? Also, from where exactly did the DELEGATED power to tax come from? What is its legitimate source? WHO EXACTLY had such a power to give to government in the first place? I've yet to see ANY minarchist/constitutionalist provide a reasonable answer to any of those questions." Articles posted do not necessarily reflect endorsement. |

Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 79292370 United States 04/21/2021 01:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Slavery is wrong, it is immoral. Period, end of story. If you believe it is acceptable for a group of beings to rule/dominate others, your a damaged soul. I've argued the taxation point with constitutionalists and from my view, there is no argument. It is wrong, regardless of how it started out. The criminals/dominators of this world only get away with what they get away with because people allow it. Some people in this tread appear to be classical statists aka believers in authority. Until mankind transcends from its ongoing error in allowing others to rule/dominate over it, we will never know freedom. Shallow people argue these points that have limited minds unable to even consider creating/living solutions due to the inability to take responsibility for the situation. I don't have the answers, I'm just sharing what makes sense. It seems like pretty straight/basic logic to me. |
