This amendment is meant to be used in case of the government trying to take it from us. I found it interesting Ozzies don't understand this, as it is with most around the world I suspect. The world really doesn't understand Americans at all I think, just view us instead by THEIR own standards, which are not all about freedom, as we are or used to be, here. I have heard Mao being quoted with.... power comes from the barrel of a gun. I believe the first person to say that was T. Jefferson. Mao quoted him. I seem to remember this from when that was a "thing" and people were carrying their little red books of Chairman Mao around.. Thinking this would help them get laid or something. Even the Beatles said you ain't gonna make it with anyone anyhow... remember? Getting carried away here, but you all know what I'm saying. God bless America. Pray for.. Prepare for.... J 17:15: "I pray not that Thou shouldst take them out of the world, but that Thou shouldst keep them from the evil. Truth, beauty and virtue ... all the things that THEY hate. All the things God loves. |

Send them straight to hell where they belong. Keep a reliable rifle and sidearm ready for each adult, of course, & maybe a shotgun or two as well depending on your living situation. A few extra mags and 1000 loose rifle rounds each. Of course, don't bury all of it, you need to defend yourself daily. You'd better be a pretty hard target if that's your plan though. You'd better be the one doing the ambushing & not the other way around if you're going to keep EVERYTHING in your house. Plan an escape route. Let them have your house and bait guns. Recover your stash and live in hiding. You'll make more of an impact hitting unexpectedly & where they're weak instead of resisting an assault. “Nobody ever defended anything successfully, there is only attack and attack and attack some more” ― George S. Patton Jr. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 7118363 United States 04/21/2021 11:26 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | First couple of minutes he mentions "unlicensed manufacturers". Quoting: seekinginformation There is NO SUCH THING as an "unlicensed manufacturer". Under the Law NOW, if a person is manufacturing firearms for sale without a Federal License, he is committing a crime. So he is a "criminal" not an "unlicensed manufacturer". Under the Law NOW, a person can legally make a firearm for his personal use. He must keep it and not sell it. The firearm must be marked with his name and place it was made, i.e., "Joe Bloe, Wilson, KS". If a person wants to take a piece of aluminum and machine it into an AR-15 type receiver, then assemble a parts kit on it, he can do that. It is legal as long as he marks it as above. If he wants to take another block of aluminum and machine it into an AR-10 type receiver and assemble a parts kit on it, he can do that too. The above applies. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. A Person may make all the firearms he wants for personal use under the above guidelines, however, only one copy of each different gun he makes. He must NEVER sell them. Now ATF wants to change the definition of "receiver" and make the upper half of an AR type rifle into the serialized part, the "firearm", instead of the lower. Change the primary thing they have been regulating for over fifty years. Yeah, that makes sense. Now your AR is two firearms, instead of one. How about this... If you buy a new barrel and install it, the barrel must have a serial number on it also. Is the barrel now a "firearm"? Who is responsible for serializing all these individual parts? The parts maker, who doesn't manufacture "firearms", or the end user who installs them? Does all this sound like nonsense? It is nonsense. These "gun control" laws are nonsense. All this junk talk about "Ghost Guns" is nonsense. The agenda is about CONTROL. It is "People Control", not "Gun Control". |

This is kind of backing a lot of people into a corner. I bet there will be a lot of dead ATF agents. |

Communists literally relitigate reality into some version of their intended enslavement and abuse of the majority to benefit a small very particular minority that lives wildly outside the limitations and control they impose on all others. They will reinterpret and redefine even the most ubiquitous concepts into some reinterpretation that only they can apply and make any honest dialogue impossible in order to dominate and destroy anyone that refuses serve their malignant agenda. They control the entire process, and only they are the beneficiaries of it. Thats not a society or culture, its an oppressive theocracy and its intentional. |

User ID: 79843852 United States 04/22/2021 09:00 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Agree 100% There is absolutely no reason to hide your firearms. What good will they do you buried somewhere at the moment that you need to be using them? You only have one gun? Three? Bottom line is you can only use one at a time. If you believe you'll be defending in a month-lomg siege, then sure keep all 12 of your rifles by the windows. I don't disagree we are way past the time they should've been used. Well, we didn't. So now we're here and have to deal with the reality that well-armed agents may come to take our guns. When they do, don't do something stupid and die. Stay alive to take care of your family or fight back; and fight back in a meaningful way, not just suicide by cop. Keeping a stash of weapons gives you that option: you can still fight back if you escape/comply, but not if you're dead. |
